This is my favorite song of theirs. I have seen them live twice , and have yet to hear them play it. Same goes for my second and third favorites. Teacher-Teacher and Judgement and Punishment, but it just gives me more of a reason to see them live again.
Most of their live performances are better than their album recordings IMO. I'm 54 and grew up in the 80s with Metallica, Megadeth, AC/DC etc. This band is right up there with those legends in my book. Great reaction! Thank you
This is my favourite performance by Jinjer. The band shines in live performances. I recommend "Captain Clock" live at Resurrection Fest for a follow up. Good reaction (Subbed)
I enjoyed your reaction - thank you! This is a performance of a re-arrangement of the track for one guitar (2 guitarists played on the studio track, but the 2nd guitarist left the band before this performance), and it outshines the studio recording in every possible way, right down to the feedback. This is a protest song, mainly calling out pollution and challenging listeners to stand up and fight for their future. Environmental themes recur throughout 2014's Cloud Factory album, where this song first appeared. This performance is from 2018, the year after the Pisces Live Session was recorded. The reggae-esque outro is a hat-tip to Bob Marley, who is well known for protest songs and of whom Tati is a big fan. The way the outro combines a reggae riff & rhythm with a jazzy vocal style & a bluesy guitar solo is musically ingenious - I've never heard anything else like it. It is a little taste of the more progressive tendencies that were beginning to emerge at the time. Perhaps my favourite Jinjer song and the pre-eminent example of "Jinjer jazz" - not a traditional jazz sound, but distinctly incorporating elements of jazz - in a complex, unconventional, multi-movement musical melee is the song "Ape". It is 3 1/2 minutes broken out into 8 highly distinctive movements with incredible transitions. Very heavy, very eclectic. It's unconventional, and so can be a bit challenging to some listeners - it took me some time to come to enjoy it. Interestingly, there's a sequel to "Ape" called "The Prophecy". It's musically very different from "Ape", and the video is also completely different, but it's also worth a reaction. Cheers!
A bit of a reggae fell at the end, Tatiana (yes , you can call her Tati.) loves reggae. She's always up for more when she can get the guys to write songs with it, as they write the music. We told you she, and the guys, are awesome live, lol.🤘🤘 One of their older songs, from the first full album, Cloud Factory , in 2014. Back when they were still a 5 piece. Rhythm guitarist Dmitriy Oksen, the last original member , left in 2015 to pursue acting. Also recorded with 3rd drummer, Yevhen Mantulin, who was severely injured in a fall from a 3rd story window in 2014. Vlad, on drums here, is the 5th and current drummer. They reworked some of these older songs for the 4 piece lineup. Spiritbox is a Canadian band , female lead vocals (Courtney LaPlate) that uses cleans and harsh. Recently , Tati joined them , at Louder Than Life Festival 2024 (Louisville , Kentucky, USA) , and together they performed the Spiritbox song "Circle With Me"
This is a special song IMO. This is from the Cloud Factory album which was their first full length album issued before they were signed to a proper record company. They have grown as a band since then but this song still holds up and they play it live to this day. This video is the current lineup of the band playing it but the song was written and performed originally when they had two guitar players. It's really been refined and stands up to time.
@@guineanord I didn’t say it did have anything to do with Demons. I just said the tone of the vocal is demonic, I wasn’t suggesting that she was a Demon or the song was about Demons. It’s just a term which is describing the way it sounds. You seem to be the only person that has a problem with it, anyway. Thank you ❤️
This is one of my Jinjer favorites. You can never go wrong with Jinjer, they never disappoint.
brilliant 👌🏽👌🏽🔥🔥🔥

'Teacher teacher' is very good, one of their best.

Pit of Consciousness- Live in Kiev
This specific version….its the peak of humanity.

love the complexity 🤯👍🏽🔥🔥
Try Judgement and Punishment, won't be disappointed!
👍🏽
If you react to judgment and punishment do the one take vocal performance of it 👍 in my opinion it's much better than the ov version.
Their most unique song is Judgement & Punishment one take
👍🏽🙌🏽
Happy for you to have found Jinjer, enjoy. At some point you should give "Perennial" a watch, from one of their live performances at Wacken Open Air
thanks for the suggestion 👍🏽
Outlander by Jinjer is awesome!
thanks for the recommendation 👍🏽
I speak astronomy Jinjer's song is also complex for me. I recommend an official video. Like your reactions, go on 🤘
will do👍🏽👍🏽🤘🏽🙌🏽
Eugene does a ridiculously good live bass playthrough of this song, it’s here on YT, you should check it out!
excellent, cheers Dave👍🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽🔥
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥👊👊👊👊❤👌
👍🏽👍🏽❤️🔥
My throat hurts!!!
Try their song "Vortex".
thank you 👍🏽👍🏽🔥
It's not demonic at all, this one and Pisces have nothing to do with demons, the devil, or anything violent

@kevinty7 I don't have a problem with it, just correcting people that think that.
