Had mine for about 3 week now, it's very spacious. The only down side I have is when your by yourself, to out the tent back down is a little struggle cause of the square shape so you will need two people or you will be fighting it.
I take one side down at a time. When you fold the side down, use the little black straps to hold it down loosely. Then walk around to the other side and pull it down. It will be a lot easier that way.
I have a video where I put it down very easy. I never have two people. I camp a lot alone. The trick is to last just with the black Velcro straps first then go to the other side.
@@BareBackBroncos unfortunately the seller chose a shipping company with unresponsive customer service for our delivery(CEVA logistics) :/ I'll be picking up a roofnest sparrow XL this weekend which these are clones of I believe. Still excited! Thanks for the video tour!
@EnterTheRover I had two deliveries from Ceva with no issues, sorry you had a issue. Once I had the tracking number I was able to call and schedule the deliveries. I have heard the roofnest are nice tent.
@@BareBackBroncos did you buy this thing right from their site, Chinese sites sketch me out sometimes but I also dont feel like over paying for a tent.
Just bought the rooftop tent and was confused with the power cord on the bottom and what to connect it with to power it. I’m not familiar with that specific plug, how did you go about setting up the power to the tent?
Build quality is good The mattress is nice, but I use a sleeping pad over it to add comfort Putting it down takes some practice. On e you get the hang of it it’s not bad I had it in the rain for 3 days straight and no leaks at all. I like the space it has for me and my son.
What do you mean mounting bars? I have a RCI roof rack and the tent comes with all the mounting hardware. It comes with a few different types of hardware for different styles of rack bars.
Just got mine. Right off the bat, not too happy with a few things. The latches can not lock and the shocks inside are awkward. Also the net is pretty flimsy. If you put anything of weight in it, it will sag pretty good. Also, not too thrilled ot did not come with a ra k for solar on top. This was not my choice of tent. Gave my wife to info to order it and ended up with this one. She likes it, so we have to keep it. Lesson learned lol
I have two tents, the hard clam shell has the ability for solar power. I’m sorry you don’t like this one. Have you contacted the seller to see what the return policy is?
That tent is SICK! Soooo spacious!
Thank you! It hast tons of room and it’s comfortable to spend a few days in.
That’s a nice tent! Love the diesel heater setup too!
Thank you! I made the heater box and the tent is amazing.
Do not start a drinking game watching this with the word Nice. Thanks for the video.
@@MarkWilliam-z7t Hahah, it’s sometimes hard to make these video and not repeat words. Thanks for watching!
Excellent review. Quick and to the point.
Thank you !
2:00 the inside of that tent is phenomenal! Looks like super high quality, and well thought out!
It has all the features a overlanding rig needs.
3:10 what a killer setup all around!
Thank you

thanks for your comment
Love this tent! It was a crisp morning, but couldn’t help myself to open all the windows.
Nice little rig
Thank you Chris
Nice set up. Do the hydraulic lifts have any type of locking device to prevent collapsing? Maybe a setup and tear down video would be cool.
Yes they do, I will get a up and down video soon.
Hydraulic?
Yes 2 on each side
We just ordered ours 👍 thanks for the video brotha!
Awesome! Let me know how you like it.

Love it
How hard it is to set up and close up?
@@JRStarrett It takes me about 5 mins to close it. If you close one side down and latch it first it’s not terrible.
How you liking the rci roof rack? I was thinking of picking one up
I like it, it’s been on my Bronco for a while and holding up well.
@@BareBackBroncos did you buy this thing right from their site, Chinese sites sketch me out sometimes but I also dont feel like over paying for a tent.
Ran into the issue of metal to metal rubbing on the rack and tent how did you fix that?
Rci sells a spacer for Rooftop tents, I ordered the 2” spacer.
Just bought the rooftop tent and was confused with the power cord on the bottom and what to connect it with to power it. I’m not familiar with that specific plug, how did you go about setting up the power to the tent?
That’s an Anderson plug. You can buy an adapter to plug that into a power station like a EcoFlow or a jackery.
what's your overall opinion on it from build quality to setup and teardown? it has no reviews on amazon so looking for an honest opinion

Does it need the mounting bars purchased separately? Also what diesel heater do you use?
Here is my diesel heater information with links in the description.

You could lay down the middle. This one is a bit larger than the other Naturnest.
how much room above your head when sitting upright?
Maybe a 12” or so I’m 5’8”
