- February 2021: V3Cars reviews which variant of the diesel Jeep Compass makes the most sense for buyers in terms of the value it offers for the money you pay. The Compass is available with a 1.4-litre turbo petrol and a 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine. The petrol engine produces 162PS of maximum power while the diesel engine is capable of producing 170PS of maximum power. Both the engines are available with a manual and automatic transmissions.
Compass diesel’s price starts from Rs 18.69 lakh and goes up to Rs 28.29 lakh (ex-showroom).

Nicely explained, and so justified according to my personal views. If budget allowed, Limited is best choice, but Jeep Compass Sport seems better choice over Creta/Seltos/Kushaq/Taigun higher variants

You should instead give on-road price Mumbai or Delhi. This ex-showroom price dsn't paint the right picture, its misleading as the price ones pays is a lot higher. On-road price will give the right idea about the actual approx. Cost of the car.

You mentioned that Longitude is not worth the extra 1.8L. Can you please tell howmuch according to you should be the price difference between sport and longitude? Trying to understand if I should consider longitude at all or not.
Sport variant unfortunately does not come in the 2 new colours - metallic green and blue. So if someone wants compass in these 2 colours longitude is the cheapest option.

this got changed in 2022. 80th anv variant is no longer available. nighthawk variant is added in between longitude and limited model. hope you ll post a new video about that.

Rather the Longitude variant is a good option at 23 lakhs (on-road) instead of paying 21.5 lakhs for the sports variant.

Jeep Compass Diesel Manual vs Jeep Compass Petro AT? The jeep automatic gearbox is not yet tested and reliable i have heard. Also Diesel seems better value and gives better mileage also. What do you think?
compass petrol is not good at all , non responsive auto in petrol and low mileage of 7-8 in city , diesel manual is more frugal , fun to drive , the torque band is impressive and yes mileage is also much better
You have overlooked one very imp point for model S top variant diesels i.e. it’s 4*4 variant and all others are not ..
So it's either panoramic or no sunroof???

Which is better jeep compass citron c 5 or innova crysta
all 3 have different usage , crysta is for chaffeaur driven and comfort for back seat and if you need 6 or 7 seats , citroen is more of a luxury and exclusive expereice to stand out from the crowd , compass is towards premium feel , features , off-roading and stable driving
