For first item in Guardians Solo after the starter I've been going Sorcerer's Staff (Tier 2 from Cursedweaver) and Keeping it tier 2 until level 12ish just because the Mana and Health it restores per level it's pretty nice in characters with poor sustain and it's pretty cheap in comparison to other items and Cursedweaver is a good item even if it's been nerfed to the ground

Matches like this are why xing tian is my go-to guardian solo. Awesome into auto attackers, he does solid damage, and is almost impossible to gank.
