I rewatched the video and realized that the lady in white is going over various memories in the house hile he is taking care of the incident in the house but she is a spirit, I said it was about addiction in the video but it seems like , based on the video, its more about how the darkness he had inside was not just affecting himself but spreading outward affecting the place that should be a safe haven, his home. ...i thiink

Derek Jones was the lead guitarist of Falling in Reverse who was with the band since the beginning. He passed away in 2020 from a subdural hematoma.

On the Original: Like "Last Resort", the two versions are SO DIFFERENT as to be completely independent and both can be enjoyed (Or even disliked) in their own right. The Original while talking about the heavy topic of addiction is upbeat and fun and the video reflects it. This is by far my favorite but I enjoy the original too.
I agree. In the drug in me video i came to the realization that the original is like hiding behind a smile and the reimagined versions are the true feeling, at least in the falling in reverse songs

The original is an upbeat song - kind of punk/emo. VERY different feel to this one. Watching it would allow you to appreciate how much he changed it for this video. He's definitely talking about addition/drugs and how it makes him feel and how it affects the people around him.
ill have to prep my mind and get rid of any biases against the old songs lol
At 5:40 it’s a new addition to the original song. I’d recommend watching it just to make you further appreciate what’s he’s done with it

I think it's worthwhile to remember that Ronnie wrote a lot of his songs in prison, including this one. That's also where he began putting together Falling In Reverse. That's how he managed to hit the ground running when he got out of prison. I guess it took time for him to get his vision done the way he wanted, probably couldn't afford it when he got out of prison.
I think he's a savant, he is self-taught on piano at 9 y.o. His mom was a drug addict that wasn't there for years at a time. His dad was also a drug addicted biker, but did most of the parenting and has since become a born again Christian.
So I don't think Ronnie had piano/guitar/drumming lessons when they were so poor. Genius or Savant?
A drivin genius? I vaguely remember someone at warped tour in 2012 saying he sounded good after being away for so long
Definitely check out Watch The World Burn, Zombified both are great! There is also a live version of Watch the World Burn by Caliber TV. I too would love an EP of all of Ronnie's reimagined versions of songs.
Ill have to check out the live, I’m trying to see the cinematic universe that’s being built lol.
