@@AdventureswithBeeGee yeah I’ve been going since I was a kid (since the late 80s- early 90s) and I rarely miss a year but this year we faced some pretty significant struggles with our business and our family not to mention we had a tornado hit on my 40th birthday which would’ve been the last weekend to go.

Went to ren fest in KC many years ago. One of the reenactors stopped me and started talking and asked my name and then started yelling it. People were all looking. I almost died cuz I was a shy kid. But it was funny too. I’d probably still be embarrassed for it to happen even now lol. This looks like great fun. I need to go to one again someday.
What time should someone arrive to avoid the long lines of traffic in the morning and how early should they leave to avoid the long lines of traffic leaving? thanks
Be ready to enter the parking lot about 30 minutes before opening and coming from I35W will have a shorter line if you are late. Leaving between 4 and 5 will let you skip most of the traffic heading out. Also, be aware the traffic cops will force everyone to only turn one direction which can mess up your directions heading home.
