In Grand Rapids the city picks up paper, glass, metal and plastic containers but not bags for free every other week. One of our grocery stores takes recycled plastic bags. It does make a difference. All the cardboard that you see gets picked up by recycling company. The home owners are allowed to place large boxes on the side of the recycling bins become full

A fun fact about Yankee Candle... my coworkers husband John and Michael Kittredge created the first candle right here in South Hadley Massachusetts in their basement with melted crayons. Michael wanted to make it a business but John said it would never work! Michael went on to create a billion dollar company!!

My spouse and I were watching this when I saw you found McCoy pottery. Well darling that flowerpot is worth $150 range. I saw 2 on eBay. I collect McCoy since my mom passed she had a couple smaller pots. It’s one of the USA pottery companies with Hull, Shawnee, Roseville etc. that in the 1940’s up made. Should you ever come on them take them, they are worth money. Some interesting history if you ever want info on Ohio pottery. God bless you man, may he bring you more successful searching.
McCoy pottery those item will sell for $25-35 each. The Italian pottery will sell for about the same. If you put them on eBay they will sell for more!!! Stuff animals can sell at yard sale for $1-3 each, that's a easy $20 bill. My son works for Yankee candle and those candles are expensive 😎
You can donate the plush animals to a dog/cat shelter. This way they have an object attachment or cuddle up to them for warmth ( if puppies/kittens), serve as entertainment toy when in their cages, plus get to take them to their 4Ever home when adopted. 🐱 🏡 🐕
