Thanks for the video, very helpful since I am currently in the process of installing the Commander Helibars. Make sure you protect the fuel tank and front fender when working on the front end of the bike. 👍🏼
great video well detailed, but if I had to replace the handlebar with one higher than 2 centimeters, can I do it safely without having problems with the cables? thanks
Thanks! Are you referring to handlebars for the R18B/TC or the classic? The Helibars Tour Commander was the only option I was aware of for the B/TC (that may have changed at this point). The bars in the video come with clutch/brake line extensions, and there is not much slack in the stock lines otherwise. The electrical lines have plenty of slack for any handlebars I would assume. You would not be able to raise the bars on a B/TC much (if at all) without extending the brake/clutch lines though. Hope that helps!
@@william.1979. can't send pictures here unfortunately. If you're talking about turning the stock bars forward in the mount to get a but more height, that might be possible. Swapping to physically taller bars, I doubt it. There is a short section of brake/clutch line that runs from the handlebars to a block where the forks begin inside the fairing (and a separate line that runs from the fork to where those lines terminate). That short lines stock have very little slack in them. The original full installation of the handlebars in the video requires you to replace the short lines with a pair that come with them that are several inches longer. You could always check by disassembling the fairing enough to check the cables based on what you're trying to do, but I'd say planning hardly any change would require longer short lines. Hope that helps!

No problem! I like to live dangerously lol. I did cover the tank when I installed them, adjusting wasn't so much of a worry. Good luck!
What brand of drivers backrest is that?
