You are absolutely right about that half open head sculpt. It's way more movie accurate. I think that fully open headsculpt was inspired by 1:1 Sideshow Stan Winston studio bust.
Amazing statue, really incredible work by Prime1, so well done, and it’s massive, really big. Out of the heads you have I’d display it with the regular mask, love that mask. I also love the fully closed mouth portrait that you have to buy separately, I think that looks amazing. I also absolutely love the closed mouth portrait on the new City Hunter, love the closed mouth look.
Yea the closed mouth portraits are amazing, I would nearly just buy those just to display them as busts even though I don’t have the statues, but I only get anime statues so they’d look out of place. Jungle & City both look incredible with the fully closed mouths. City Hunter looks even better, as the pattern on his head is more elaborate and his mouth is slightly different.

Yea I don’t know about removing the plants, I think they add a nice bit of colour, that’s my only issue with the new City Hunter, the base is too plain, there’s nothing to it, they should have made a column standing up behind him, like the columns that were in the ship.

That’s an amazing statue, I utterly despise the head design of the Berserker, but with the mask on you can’t see it & the mask is really cool. But the biggest miss is that the ultimate version doesn’t come with a wall to display all the skulls. They should have made a wall that you can attach to the back of the base that holds all the skulls, it’s stupid that you just have to scatter them around lose, definitely not worth the massive price increase just for the skulls. Don’t know why that wasn’t a big complaint from collectors.

Saw some videos with breakage or wrong version all together. Im glad i had no problems with mine. I actually received the fourth box with mine which was a duplicate base belonging to another person! Took like 3 weeks to get it back to the customer. I noticed your scorpion is upon the rock do yoy know that It has a little slot for it right? Just F.Y.I. I didn't notice the slot for a few days either LOL
I’ll take a look for the slot thanks, just cool you can position him wherever though 😂 Yeah I knew it was a matter of time before we started seeing issues with these, for such an elaborate piece I’m surprised they got them out so quick, factory workers really need to take more care packing, handling and posting these things. No problems with mine just had to widen the pin hole for the stump, lots of minor blemishes on it but I’m sure that’s on most statues. My biggest issue is the spine bandolier, it’s way too big, wrong shape, shouldn’t be human it should be a jaguar spine.

He was also big red predator in batman dead end. He made 10 units only. It’s just sitting on my sub in the home theatre.

I’d hold on to it as long as you can. Yeah my system is just a klipsch system with atmos, it kicks ass but I’m not one to upgrade for a long time unless the speakers die. Lol.

Well you’ll start off with the best one ever made you wouldn’t need another or worry it will be outdated later. Definitely worth it, just going to be hard to get one later having to be repacked correctly and shipped with 3 boxes.
What the hell, someone broke one of the portraits to make a closed mouth version?! Some people are insane….anyways great review. Can’t wait to get this beast in myself. Btw will you be getting the P1 Alien warrior? Should be shipping soon.
Thanks, yeah I couldn’t believe what I was seeing, looked horrible and could tell it was a modified half open sculpt but initially thought it was P1’s closed mouth and I got worried, glad it wasn’t! Yeah I’m waiting for the warrior shipping notice, hope it hasn’t gone up too much.

Some fantastic Pieces but come one dude get a proper display setup as having these on the floor on bits of wood just looks awful and your clearly not short of money to buy some shelving / display units/ Nice Review !

Nice! What type of polish did you use on the epoxy?
I just used a very small amount of Meguires insane shine/wet look. It’s an extremely light polish.
