I don´t remember any prepare for landing announcement too. Flight was some 20 mins late, so I had a very interesting run to catch last night train out of Prague:) Food pretty good...champagne as welcome drink, nuts, rabbit with cabbage and ice cream with lemon topping.
I love the Embraers. I flew on one of those from Amsterdam to Helsinki last year. When I booked the flight, it was scheduled to be an A320, so I was really happy to see the Embraer standing at the gate since I'd never flown on that type before. Some crews are very informative about points of interest along the route they fly and I wish more would do that.

Ice cream with lemon topping sounds sounds delicious, but I think I'll pass on the rabbit dish. I don't believe in killing animals for food although I recognise animals do kill each other for that reason. You must have a pretty interesting job that takes you all over the world. Where are you headed next?
That's pretty mean. It would be understandable if it was a budget carrier, but not the country's flag carrier. Malaysia Airlines provides a meal if the flight time is more than one hour.

I fully respect that. I have a very boring job actually. All these flights are not related to my job and they are paid solely by me:)

Boring job or not, if it gives you the freedom and the funds to travel around the world as you do, it's well worth having.
