I was into dmx and jay z too but def Beatles on top. We played "And I love her" for our highschool talent show in 2005. Anyway it's raining in NYC and I can't ride my bike today so I'm bingewatching your vids. Cheers amigo.
It’s your optimism that I tune in for, and the Beatles. If not for your optimism I would have left. You’re just a youngster, wait till your 69 and trying to field invites to play in other parts of the US and around the world. I gave up the dream of being a rock star at 30 and walked away. Didn’t touch an instrument or even listen to music for 2 years. Then I was asked to play on a worship band and then lead a worship band. At 40 years old I found myself touring Europe and then parts of the US doing my own songs. For the next 6 years I found myself teaching music, Guitar, Bass, Mandolin, Piano, Drums and voice. At 47 another tour of the US. From 49 through 69 years old I’ve continued to teach. Now it’s time to go out again and take this message and sound wide into the world. Only when I set myself aside and lost myself did I find myself and the occasion to go out and spread this message of love with others. In 1990 I played to a packed house at the Forum in Scotland. Never had I played in front of so many people, and then finding to play for 19 people to be so much more rewarding. Keep working on spreading your message and don’t give up.
