I'm very grateful to have found a space to live where I can sing and practice as loud and as obscure as I want. Great reaction guys I love your videos!
I think you were right that the hallway itself was mic'd up because the dog's feet on the hardwood comes through really clearly at the start of the video.
I'm so happy you finally got to Nick's music! You guys are right, the sound quality (the whole production really... sound/filming/editing/etc.) of every video on the Western AF channel is the best! The only other channel I feel is on par with them is GemsOnVHS, practically all my favorite live performances from recent years have been produced by them. I'm kind of bummed you didn't start with this amazing video (th-cam.com/video/3I7ME1oacMA/w-d-xo.html) of him doing "Snakes and Waterfalls," but NOW you know how badly you need to keep digging into his music! Keep up the good work!
glad you got to check out Nick. He's one of my favorites over the last year. I would recommend Coleman Williams "son of sin" that was suggested at the end of the Western AF song. You'll know his family well

When I think about why I like Nick Shoulders #1 on my list is when I listen to him it makes me smile.

I love what nice shoulders brings to the table! This is one of my favorite songs along with “snakes and waterfalls”.
Yall should see him live. Even better. And his banter is just as entertaining if not more so than his songs. Long live Mr. Shoulders!
He's insanely talented. Seeing him this weekend!
He was amazing live. I highly suggest seeing him and his rad band live.
I highly recommend watching cheap cocaine by willi carlisle guy has a lot of great songs but this one always gets to me.
Always wondered how they nailed the sound on that video too!
@@nigelgallagherpbp that one and Van Life
I second this comment and add that “Singing Knives” is an absolute masterpiece of emotional storytelling through musical expression!!!
Got to see Nick play a show in Fayetteville with Dylan earl and it was great. Both dudes are solid artists
Nick's voice is very close to Slim Whitman's, and he does an awesome version of Indian Love Call!
Great review. Loved seeing the joy Nick evoked. He's a class act.
Song is so much fun and thanks!
I don't mean to brag, but Nick Shoulders just started following me on Facebook a few days ago...lol. Fun video. Thanks

Thanks AJ and I look forward to that one!
Nick is amazing. Really one of the greatest voices I’ve heard.
Huge fan of his Heart of Glass cover. Huge fan of his style in general really. I love the old timey mountain singing
Just saw him and Todd Day Wait live in Kansas city... Incredible show both are great performers

That was in the livestream Tuesday actually. It's an intense song.
@@Chromatomic thanks for the heads up!
"Even the way he walked in..."
🤣🤣🤣
That is awesome...different
Just nice having some solid music coming out of these hills.
Check out some Matt Heckler. Haw River Ballad, One More Down, and I Tried are particular favorites of mine.
blue eyes dancing
Definitely different and very talented. Enjoyed your reactions more I think than the actual performance.
Preciate ya Mark!
Tennessee waterfall hair, Slim Whitman singer.
I love that most of this video is just figuring out the mic situation, Western AF has some good producers/engineers.
Nick Shoulders is great.
Masterpiece
Great musician
Check out The Devil Makes Three, super fun bluegrass band.

You should check out his song G for jesus. If you liked his line about wagon wheel you love it.
I love your insights, but if like to see you listen to a song all the way through and then go through again to pause and give your thoughts.
Check out Sturgill Simpson my man.. he’s from Jackson Kentucky. Not far from Tyler Childers
Miss’ippi and black star are good ones that you should react to
Yey Nick !..ace bloke
Tbf Western AF has some of the production value of any live performance channel.
Play FREEBIRD!!!!! 😂😂😂
He’s Robin Hood in real life
sOnGwRiTeR ReAcCssscssssS
You can stop talking about the sound any time at all. Talk about what he's actually doing.
wagon wheel sucks!!!
Effortless. He just exudes music
