Thanks very much for sharing these. Makes Spring Training seem right around the corner.

Yes! @@pheniafilmsthemlbarchiveso9229
@@pheniafilmsthemlbarchiveso9229How I'd like to go back in time when baseball was played differently.
Branch Rickey had been trying to move Ralph Kiner because of his salary. The previous winter when Kiner rejected
his new contract because he thought he deserved more after tying for the lead the NL in homers.
Rickey's response was the Pirates could finish last with or without Kiner and dumped his salary on the Cubs.
Both Kiner and Joe Garagiola went on to long careers as baseball announcers.
Joe didn't look too happy in the clip of him during BP.
How 'bout the kid wearing suspenders for his baseball pants @ 1:02:36.
Robin Roberts was the 50's version of Tom Seaver.
Braves pitcher Ernie Johnson was a long-time Braves broadcaster.
Great time capsule, looking forward to more!
Incredible!
Great video the Braves and all that future talent and at least one big piece of the puzzle is waiting AARON) no wonder the Braves will be so hot through the 50's
12:28 This man right here went on to be the founder/owner of the New York Titans of the AFL in 1960, who are today the New York Jets.
1953 - what a year for the yankees - Casey's 5th year at the helm and the Yankees 5 straight world series triumph, a record that will never be tied or BROKEN, especially when you consider only a handful of teams have won 5 rings in their entire history, and as the Ole Professor would say " you can look it up"
This is unreal my friend ty so much! I am on a mission to collect footage from every Phillies game ever played. 6/6/53 checked off the list. Any other of this type floating around?
"Boston" Braves training in FLA in 1953. Wonder how long it was after this footage that the move to Milwaukee was announced.
These are the same narrators as the program "Industry On Parade."
And five years later Campy was out of baseball permanently because of being paralyzed in a car wreck in January 1958, and thus never played for the Dodgers in L.A.
If the Phillies organization hadn't been such a racist bunch, Campanella would have been their catcher instead of the Dodgers.
A caray !!
