I'm flying from Sibu to Kuching on Christmas Day with my wife. We were initially booked on a later flight, but were moved to this particular flight as AK cancelled ours, possibly due to low loads.
Be warned that you won't get enough room with the seats of AK's A320neo!

I would agree, it is a quite tight space. When I flew in with the 9M-AH* series in September 2019, it was a little spacious because of its seat numbers were 6 seats less than 9M-AG* or 9M-RA* series. When I flew with the 9M-RA*, the amount of space infront is really tight. Then again, also another main difference between 9M-AG*/9M-RA* series than the other ones is the lavatory location which one if it is located on the crew's jumpseat which I managed to visited and it is quite smaller than the non-9M-AG*/9M-RA* series. During my chat with one of the pilots after the flight back in November last yesr, I asked them why they did not use A3 to vacate RWY 25 (like in 9:00) but instead using B, they told me that they actually requested for it which I think is because they had to pull in the plane to Gate 5 much more quicker so they can do the turnaround process quickly I assume? Anyway, great trip report! Looking forward to your next one.

Thanks for watching & also for your continuous support! AK reduced the seat pitch in their NEOs (ie.-RA* series) and used thinner, non-reclinable seats so that they can fit in 6 more seats. There must be a reason the ATC denied the request of the pilots to evacuate the runway using A3 in your trip, not sure what though. Please look forward to my next report: I'm flying MH back to MYY from KCH!
