ROUGH RIDGE-GRANDFATHER MOUNTAIN-BLUE RIDGE PKWY, NC

We are taking you to hike with us at the Rough Ridge-Grandfather Mountain. We park the car at the Rough Ridge Overlook parking area on Blue Ridge PKWY, NC. The name of the trail is Tanawha trail. It is the dog friendly trail especially for big dogs. Some people carry/backpack their small dogs. A lot of rocks in some spots and uneven floor. The view are incredible! We will come back again and hike further in the future. If you want to see color of the leaves.
