3900x + rx 580: 262 mh gave a janusscore of 320. I added one more rx580 and ended up with 339 mh and a janusscore of 403. But power went up with 140 W.
The good old rx580! Yep I found the same with my 3900x. Hashrate gains were descent but not worth the extra power in m yopinions
I've got a 3090 - 3900x - 510 mh
This algo is complicated , it needs more cores on cpu for a higher hashrate and a good gpu
Yep that's right, a good CPU is much more important than a good GPU
Can I mine only on the CPU without a graphics card?
No you cannot on this algythm. It uses a process of "proof of balanced work" which means it requires an input from both.
With a good old ryzen 3600, what will be the most efficient ? 1660 super, 2060, 2060 super or 3060ti ?
I'll try this week...
If you want the highest hash rate id go the 3060TI to start. This will ensure you max out the CPU'S verushash capabilities. from there you can drop down a GPU and get a baseline
I've better hash with 3060ti.
3600+3060ti : Woolypooly sees between 250 and 400mhs
3600+1660super : Woolypooly sees between 200 and 270mhs.
For some reason can't check the rig mining in hiveshell to check the ratio. I think it's better to check the pool hashrate cause that's what pay us ;)
Obviously 3060ti electric power is higher...
I've put 11 threads of the 12 on processor.
@@julienderesme9671 You might need to enable your webshell in "remote access" in the settings of the worker. That should allow you to access the hiveshell.
do you have to install node if using hiveos
@@BearMarketMiner i have crap processor think celeron 3900 , and a few 3060ti and 3070, is this enough to mine warthog,. had problems trying to get it to work after your last video
I wouldn't imagine it would be do well at all with a Celeron 3900. If you upgraded your CPU, you could get some descent hashrate from the 3060TI and 3070!
Have you tried to run this CPU
2 × Intel(R) Pentium(R) CPU G4400 @ 3.30GHz AES board?
No I haven't tried that board/CPU. You would be able to get some hash rate out of it I'm sure but not much. You really need a mid to high end CPU to get good performance.
@@BearMarketMiner i have ~16 workers in this board and same kind cpu 2 × Intel(R) Pentium(R) CPU G4400 @ 3.30GHz AES board! I cant get them work on warthog amd, nvidia gpus lots of errors most common open cl error .
This is why i ask you maybe you tried them!?
This coin working only NEW gen cpu boards!
What CPU / GPU Rigs are you running? Tell me your Hashrates!
5950x+4070ti 700 to 730 hashrate atm 96w on gpu 130w on cpu still working on other cpus and gpus to adjust but have 1 7950x3d + 4060ti 630 to 680hashrate atm its working @186w total
Solid numbers! Are you going to efficiency, hashrate or trying to find a nice balance between both?
@@BearMarketMiner well i broke mu m2 and ibwas struggling with it now i have fixed all and im aiming for efficiency when i m able to do
@@Farquarto Glad it's up and running. Nothing worse than broken parts.
5900x and 3070 , mine is 560 :)
Tr4 1900x with 2x rtx 2080s only 310..
