I couldn’t even imagine what it would cost to buy that with all the custom carbon fiber and hand made aluminum parts.. the thread on offshore electrics, is worth a look.. just amazing.. it’s 15k-20k I’m guessing.. it’s worth every penny.. or euro.. whichever.. Not only is it Turbine powered, it dual Turbined. They are truly some of the best marine motors considering how much most folks spend in the upper RPM range.
Beautiful boat! It does look like it’s running wet and trimmed for safety although it’s no doubt a heavy setup it sounded like a looser trim and slightly higher bow and higher pitch prop’s could be rewarding
Indeed this is a first run, i'm guessing he uses a low pitch prop and maybe limit throttle too. Check balance and speed etc, return to shore intact, and move on from there. This setup can reach much higher top speeds.
Agreed, but I have seen a mystic with twin turbines dialed in that could out run any of my zenoahs (and I have some serious fast Cracker boxes that like to become airplanes) on a dead run he could top 120mph easy...
That's not the point here...this is TURBINE powered. I have some prop planes that are faster than my turbine powered jets...but that's not the point ;)
