Loved this. This is the only video that I’ve seen out of 100s that actually gave me information. Real products to see through the years and actual transfer paper names. Thank u so much❤️❤️
Very sweet thing to say. And I totally agree. It's always nice when you scroll down to the comments and people actually say something nice for a change.
Thank you for your videos. Don't blame yourself on the peeling, there is sizing on the shirts that the manufacturer put on and chances are if it is peeling it is due to the prepress.
Great editing. Really good to see people cutting to the chase and editing out unnecessary stuff. Keep it upppp!!! I'm so frikkin impressed really. Cut right to the chase. Great job
thank you for the info, love the on time honest wear videos, i ill be making some.t-shirts and i been told the neenah paper is the best, also i did not know you had to stretch the ts
You only have to Stretch the Jet Pro Soft Stretch If you want it to have a soft hand and lt also lasts longer if yo stretch. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching!
Vito screen print them man , it’s better quality if it’s a one or two color design I’d say do them yourself but if it’s more see if you can get a local company to help you out . Buy shirts in bulk form like jiffy shirts.com
Thank you so much for your video. I am curious if a technique I've used for years works from your observation. I've always turned t-shirts inside out and then washed them in cold water then dried them inside out. It seems like it helps extend the life of the image to me. But I want to know your opinion and if you've noticed that to work better too. I so appreciate how much you share. I am wanting to get into this business and it helps a lot to see your practical, step-by-step information.
The inkjet transfers for darks will eventually wash out I don't like to use them for my customers but some of them insist on it for stuff like RIP shirts. Jetpro softstreatch is good for light colors and if applied correctly and stretched right after it's pressed it will last the life of the shirt.
All transfer paper will eventually wash out unless you are using jetpro softstretch which is only for white and light colored shirts. I have used the Jet Opaque and it's ok for dark colors but it will eventually wash out. You can slow the process down by washing on gentle and hanging dry instead of putting in the dryer. Do not use fabric softener in the wash per the manufacturers instructions. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching.
@@jamalvines2133 I don't like using them for my customers because they will start to fade out when you wash them. I have some customers that insist on them for R.I.P. shirts but they know they won't last long. I think Siser easy subli or something like that would work better or maybe screen printed transfers.
Hi, started my t-shirt printing business seeing your videos, awesome explanation, planning to expand it by purchasing design jet, does it print on vinyl rolls?
No, The one that I own does not print on the rolls. If you want one that prints on vinyl you need to look for the solvent ink printers. Thank you for watching!
The shirt in the video was from 2008 so they can last for a few years but will eventually fade out over time. If you wash them gently and let them hang dry it will increase the live of the transfers.
I love your work and videos. Do you have an email I can email you ? I have a lot of questions about tshirt making. I am a designer and looking to geting into tshirt transfers. I have no idea where to start so I figured I’d ask. My questions would take up a lot of space here. Thanks.
I recently had a heat transfer printed by the place where I get my shirts from. It had to be weeded just like HTV. Do you know what kind of transfer that is? It came on an opaque film and I had to transfer it to a carrier sheet

Thanks for watching!
yw im from the boot 2, west Monroe. Colorado is booming in the t-shirt business
You should probably look up screen printing
hey have you been able to sell decent quality shirts using heat transfer? It's my concern too lol

how long did the avery dark transfer paper last??

Just add a lil spray olive oil and they will look good.
Amazing video, thanks for the info!
Love your videos. For washability which one is the best to worse? Laser , inkjet or sublimation?
Sublimation is best because it is dyed directly into the fabric where as the inkjet and laser transfers both sit on top of the shirts.
For the shirts where the letters were cut out using contour is it printed with iron on paper or vinyl.?
I used Neenah Jet Opaque transfer paper if I'm remembering correctly this video is one of my older ones but I think that's what I used.
should I use bigger size transfers if I want the design to be bigger???
No make the image bigger
I'm assuming it's because they are better but why?
Do yo recommend washing inside out to preserve the design?
It may help but I just wash it regular, I don't flip it.
Thank you! I’m new to the game and all of your videos are helpful... old or new! 😃😃😃
Glad you like them! Thank you for watching!
Hi would a Brother Compact Monochrome Laser Printer be a good laser printer?
Thanks for this vid. Good info.
Hi! Thank you for watching!!
I love your videos
Thanks for the video! I have one question. Where is the best place to purchase t shirts? Thank you , I'll be looking out for more of your videos. 👍

What paper do you recommend for a LaserJet Pro printer?? I try some they washing off with first wash I keep wasting money please hell

So like how many washes does it take to fade away
I can't say exactly but it depends on how you wash and dry it. It will last longer if you wash on gentle cycle and hang dry.
Good information to know, thanks.
Really good video. Thanks.
Glad you liked it!

I have used both inkjet and laser for transfers.
Do use a inkjet printer
I did when I did the shirts in the video but now I use Laser printers. Thanks for watching!

Does the National Book Store has Transfer paper?
IDK what that is I've never heard of that place.
Yes there is
A YEAR IS GOOD
Depends on how often washed and if you put it in dryer (which is not recommended) but it basically starts to wear down each time you wash it
Great video
