The Viennea Art Orchestra, which was active from 1977 to 2010 as a cultural ambassador of Austria with various band formations and members, is one of the best jazz groups in Europe in terms of the skill of the musicians and the elaborate arrangements. This is a live recording of the band's appearance at a festival in the late 80's, just before they temporarily stopped performing. All but one of the tracks are original compositions by Mathias Rüegg, the band's organizer. B1(Yamada)
