I like playing along with your selection of songs. Some easy and some in the intermediate range. My ears has a habit of latching on to familiar tunes/songs and then feel encouraged to jam with. Thank you for making it easy for everyone to play along by incorporating the timing litup programming. It's one of the better ones and helps to keep accurate timing. Thanks again for sharing these songs with us. It keeps me busy in the lockdown situation.

Having said that, forgive me for my observation as it may be entirely incorrect but i believe I'm hearing 3 misplaced chords at the very end of the song/last 2 lines. Over "don't" I'm hearing G, over "deserve" I hear C and over "you" I hear G. Again, thank you so much. It helped me learn this song very quickly 👏

Lol facts doe! My mom videoed me for my Poppa and guitar teacher just to show him what i did by myself while he was gone and as she was recording me everytime it said " Dancing in the dark" my voice would crack at the d in dancing and the t and e in the> LOLLLLL
for most of the song strum [D d d D d d] , pre-chorus which you do [D - - D - - D - - d d d] ( kind of going along with the words) D = harder down strum ; d = normal down strum. if you know music then a better explanation would be that for most of the song you down strum triplets accenting on every beat, then in the pre-chorus, only every fourth beat would be a triplet and you would continue to strum on every beat at 64bpm. If I missed anything or messed up etc let me know.
@Leah Barrow I am by no means an expert, but I will try to help! If you want a quality acoustic for relatively cheap I would opt for a Yamaha FG800. That being said, I would recommend heading to the closest guitar shop and trying some out personally, choose the one you like the best. I would also recommend doing some research and find out what you want from your guitar. I'm glad I could be of help!

At first, the strumming DDD-DDD, but in the pre- chorus and chorus, it becomes DDD-DUDU. And then again DDD-DDD.
YESS i ran into that the first time i played it but as i played it more i listned to it more and i got the pattern on my own!!
U can strum it 4 times each chord for simplicity
If you don't have capo than play these chords ( It contains Barre Chords )
G#, Fm, C#, E Flat or D# 😉
