Hi I got my chinchillas a year ago and knew nothing about them I got them a tiny cage and bad stuff but I got a new cage same cage as yours I know a lot more about them now my chins are Justin and Carlos but I was wondering if you have some tips on how I can entertain them? -Maddie big fan of yours
Hi, I'm so happy you are giving Justin and Carlos great care! Some ways you can entertain them is hiding treats in their toys, as well as making hanging toys out of their favorite things. Pandora usually gets up on her hinge legs and uses her nose and paws to try and chew the toy. It's very cute. Of course, you can also make their play space interesting to entertain them :)
When ever I let my chinchilla out he always runs around and we can never catch him do u have any tips to get him to be more like your chinchilla? Also how do you clean the fleece? And out it on?
Yes! I suggest putting a stool/box like a step he can easily hop back into the cage. If you are still finding it hard to put him back, try seeing if he will hop into the dust bath, and that way you can put him in his cage. But remember, don't give him a dust bath everyday! I payed about $20 dollars shipping. It was kinda a lot because I forgot how large and heavy 10lb of hay can be! You should try estimating the shipping not on the quantity of items, but how large and heavy each item is. That'll probably give you more accurate shipping amount! Hope that helped! 🥰
