I feel like the mom is unintentionally causing a lot of friction between her two daughters by not letting them fond their own style and have their own quinces. Shes wanting them both to be a certain way and is forcing them to be people who they aren't. Which will most likely result in the two sisters either hating each other or having a falling out.

vera traditionally you're supposed to gain " sponsors " for the event so the parents don't pay for anything or very little. That's what my family did. I had a sweet sixteen and my sister had a quince, and we had our God parents help pay. That's traditionally what's supposed to be done

The bun girl was plain boring and not imaginative to experience a beautiful dress in a beautiful party situation. Instead she had to choose something that makes her look like a fat puffer fish

They were competing with each other so much it was almost rude! I have a twin sister and we respected each other's choice of our dress, we didn't get the same dress but we weren't saying "no, you're dress is ugly and mine is better". And our quince is going to be in August but we both have different taste in style, we still weren't rude to each other though. They were just really rude to each other 😰
My mom buys me and my sister matching clothing even though:
- I am 6 years older than her
- Our hair color isn’t the same
- Our hair type isn’t the same
- And our eye color isn’t the same either
