Love the way Paul sings this. He puts more soul and feeling into every song he sings. I've loved Paul Rodgers forever, best-looking guy in the world and best singer.
Ron Connell Oh don't get me started! Free & Bad Co., Styx, Boston, Foreigner, all influenced Def Leppard, Journey & Bon Jovi. And it ain't for a lack of platinum LPs & 45s
Good Question because he deserves to be. Paul Rodgers is the man. Bad Company, The Firm, solo artist, This man doesn't get any respect nor recognition with his performance and he deserves to be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
I agree, I do believe this is the best cover, I truely love this song and with the amazing Jimmy Page on guitar and Paul Rogers voice. It does not get any better, this band The Firm was a healing for both men, and beside LZ and Bad Company, this is the greatest rock band, much love to you all
Paul’s voice is as good as any that’s ever picked up a mic!! You can take the top ten throw them in a bag and pull them out randomly and that will be your top ten for that day! Paul is definitely in that top ten maybe top five since he’s still belting it out at seventy four!
They're r ignorant people in this world THEY DESERVE to b in the HOF for many years now Its bout damn time somebody figured it out.Ive seen them live n still in the top 2 shows ever.Love The FIRM.
When I saw The Firm in OKC with some friends in 1985, just a year out of high school, it was maybe my forth or fifth concert. Still, to this day, after hundreds of live shows, one of the greatest moments was this song, that night. There was a biblical rain storm going on outside, one of the worst in OKC history, and about midway through the show, the PA and lighting power went suddenly dead. Within seconds, I don't remember what song they were actually playing at the time, Paul and Jimmy walked to the front of the stage, armed with just acoustic guitars, and led the crowd in a rousing version of this song. They managed to stretch it out a few minutes longer than normal, just long enough for personal to get the power back on. Absolutely the greatest professional moment I've seen at a rock show. Tony's steller bass solo version of The Star Spangled Banner, ala Jimi Hendrix style, was a highlight as well. Oh, and Chris Slade on drums? Dude was/is a monster. The drive home that night was treacherous, almost a hundred miles in blinding rain, but it was well worth it.
In the 80s when this came out. I was just a teen, and had already been in love with Zep and Bad Company. This blew me away. The entire album is supremely done. Midnight Moonlight Lady is my favorite, however all are so greatly done. I listen to it even to this very day. ; ) Thank you. Jimmy, and Paul. God bless you both. And of course the rest of the band..
Hall and Oates is the best version..give it a listen...never knew Paul sang this song..first time hearing it and he's one of my favorite vocalists but Daryl Hall nails this song..Love em both!
You never close your eyes anymore When I kiss your lips And there's no tenderness like before In your fingertips You're trying hard not to show it (baby) But baby, baby I know it You've lost that lovin' feelin' Whoa, that lovin' feelin' You've lost that lovin' feelin' 'Cause it's gone, gone, gone, whoa There's no love to look in your eyes When I reach for you And now you're starting to criticize Little things I do It makes me just feel like crying (baby) 'Cause baby, something beautiful's dyin' You've lost that lovin' feelin' Whoa, that lovin' feelin' You've lost that lovin' feelin' Now it's gone, gone, gone, whoa Baby, baby, I'd get down on my knees for you If you would only love me like you used to do We had a love, a love, a love you don't find everyday So darling, darling, darling, don't take your love away, oh Bring back that lovin' feelin' Whoa, that lovin' feelin' Bring back that lovin' feelin' 'Cause it's gone Baby (baby), baby (baby) Bring back that lovin' feelin' Whoa, that lovin' feelin' Bring back that lovin' feelin' 'Cause it's gone
Happy Birthday Jimmy Page born on January 9, 1944. He is an English musician, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist. He achieved international success as the guitarist and founder of the rock band Led Zeppelin. - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jimmy_Page
The firm.two well respected musicians......two guys who don't have to prove their existence....other bands prove you have the balls to take this on.......go on....prove.it.
When I saw The Firm In Daytona, Florida, right at the the lyric, "I would get down on my knees, for you," Paul quickly drops to his knees, and keeps right on singing. I almost fell to my knees too. Oh yeah, right on front row center stage. It was just too much to take in.
Jimmy Page, after the beakup of Led Zeppelin expected, because he was keenly aware of his talent on guitar,to have a solo career like Jeff Beck, Clapton, and other wildly gifted musicians,he ended up in the firm,a pretty good, almost a jam band.
Love the way Paul sings this. He puts more soul and feeling into every song he sings. I've loved Paul Rodgers forever, best-looking guy in the world and best singer.
How is this man not in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame?
It's a shame that he is not. But nobody can deny that he's a phenomenal vocalist.
Ron Connell Oh don't get me started! Free & Bad Co., Styx, Boston, Foreigner, all influenced Def Leppard, Journey & Bon Jovi. And it ain't for a lack of platinum LPs & 45s

I agree, Tony Franklin should be in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame!
He should have been. Despite, he ranks top for more than 50 years. That's godly.
I agree, I do believe this is the best cover, I truely love this song and with the amazing Jimmy Page on guitar and Paul Rogers voice. It does not get any better, this band The Firm was a healing for both men, and beside LZ and Bad Company, this is the greatest rock band, much love to you all
Agreed
No shit his voice held up better than anyone else
I seen there last concert in ATL 😢
Have to disagree with you there...I love me some Paul Rodgers but Hall and Oates nailed this song. Better than The Righteous Brothers..
and let's not forget Tony Franklin on bass - Wow!
This man could sing the Hokey Pokey and give you chills
How about some love for the man - Tony Franklin on bass. Genius musician as much as anyone.
DameonJessey To the bass. No band would get by without them.
And slade
Amen!
The loving feeling requires reciprocity up close and personal. ❤❤
What a supremely amazing cover. I'm sure the Righteous Brothers would have been impressed by this
Truly a band that deserves recognition.
I don't care about who did it first... it's who did it the best.... this is supreme.
Heart and soul in any lyric during his continued career ❤❤
Bring back that Loving Feeling
This is a great cover. Paul Rodgers' vocals are powerful.

It is a an entertainment tragedy that Paul Rodgers and Bad Co isn't in the HOF. One more album and the firm would've been nominated!
The greatest Rock n Roll voice ever!!! No one is even close!
please. think about what you just said
@@markv.5962 oh Mark, I have thought about it and I still feel the same way.
What a great voice wow
Swooning at this Paul Rodgers panty dropper . . . ❤
Many say Paul Rodgers has a great voice for rock. I absolutely agree. But this song is proof he has a great voice period.
I get it but why be negative?

You never close your eyes anymore

You've lost that lovin' feelin'
'Cause it's gone, gone, gone, whoa
There's no love to look in your eyes
When I reach for you
And now you're starting to criticize
Little things I do
It makes me just feel like crying (baby)
'Cause baby, something beautiful's dyin'
You've lost that lovin' feelin'
Whoa, that lovin' feelin'
You've lost that lovin' feelin'
Now it's gone, gone, gone, whoa
Baby, baby, I'd get down on my knees for you

Bring back that lovin' feelin'
'Cause it's gone
Paul still gives me goosebumps.
What a smooth mix of musicians! Zeppelin @ Bad Co love it
Was there for both tours, both awesome shows!!! Wish they would’ve done some more stuff together
I’m jealous…. Great band.
Probably the best cover of this song by far...
Absolutely amazing. Rodgers on vocals and page on the guitar. Don't get any better
Several of the all-star bands that came out during the 80's were incredible.
The Firm, Asia & TOTO to name a few of the best!
Tim Davis You are so spot on. What we have today? Only shit with no soul at all.
Such a true statement Jonnie Redder!
Puuuure shit!
Best version ever!

Incredible
The voice. ❤
Awesome song. a friend of mine lost that loving feeling a long time ago
+Charlene Parker I know I did. I don't think there is a possibility of gaining it back either.
This is good.
Absolute greatness!
Really dug Jimmy's sound in this era.
This version is as good as any other
Good question because he's amazing
Pinche Rolon..una gran Agrupación para la Historia..

Drugs slowed that up immensely
70 years of Korea over now.
That was different.
Goodnight
A Boro lad can hold a tune
but they didn't wright this Johnny Rivers did in 1966 but still a great song
Jimi
😀🤟🏾
I heard that?
You cannot sing better. Period
Some people just have to make music
Look to the the original.
Jimi had a Marlboro 100
fucking ridic version of this great song. Rogers is in pristine form here - but then he
almost always is, unlike some, er....never mind.
They should be but there to busy letting rap music in the hall of fame its for rock n roll
