Mate, there is nothing wrong with being a Steph fan. In this era with no defence MJ would average 40-45 points per game. There is no shame in behind MJ. If there was, every player would live in shame. I started ball when MJ was retired the first time. People spoke of him in ways that almost didn't seem real. Then he came back and I was like "holy sh*t, he's real." Alonzo Mourning was my favourite player so that's my bias. MJ is the GOAT. If MJ can't do it then it's not meant to be done on a basketball court. I am still watching the video but I am hoping you will join the club. That club is called reality. Life is good here, better than delusion-ville. That place is full Lebronwyn fans.

Lediddy hasn't retired yet cause the loser hasn't caught up to Michael yet. 22 seasons compared to Michael's 11 full Bull seasons and 2 Wizard years. The queen still trails Michael by 2 championships, 2 fmvp's, 1 mvp, 4 all defensive first teams, 1 dpoy award, 9 scoring titles, 3 steals titles, 2 3peats, the list goes on and on. How many more years does the queen need? Lmao smh

Please stop with the plumbers and janitors sh*t. It’s a sorry way to try to discredit the athleticism of players of whatever generation. I hate when folks use it against the 80’s players, and it’s just flat out stupid. Yes, lots of players in the 50s-70s had other jobs in the off-season. It was because the money wasn’t great in the Association and other pro sports leagues. They didn’t have the luxury to travel on private jets for vacations and work on their bodies for several months in a row. They had bills to pay, so a 2nd income was necessary. Doesn’t change the fact that guys like Mr. Russell and Wilt were playing against the best players in the world at the time and they were two of the best athletes to ever play the sport.

Not sure about the '93 Bulls, but I think the '95-'96 Bulls would have beaten the 2016 Warriors team that won 73 regular season games. I get tired of hearing people say that LeBron beat the Greatest Team Ever in 2016. No, he beat the team with the best regular season record. The best team was the 72-10 '95-'96 Bulls, because they finished with a title while the team that topped them by one game in the regular season did not win a title.

Jordan retired after both threepeats. After the first, he retired because his father was murdered in the off-season, and he left to go play baseball because basketball had been turned into bad memories. He was out for one full season and over 75% of the next, returning near the end of the season and, due to rust, suffering the only playoff loss in his streak of 25 wins in 26 playoff games.
Had Jordan not retired at that time for those140ish games, I firmly believe we are talking about Jordan's run of 8 straight titles.
Had Jordan stayed in Chicago after the second threepeat, I am not sure they'd win another title. Pippen and Rodman were leaving, as was Phil Jackson. Jordan is the Goat, not a miracle worker. If Jordan wanted more rings, he'd probably have had to go team and teammate shopping like LeBron has his whole career.

True. But a bigger factor was that Bill was carrier offensively by FIVE hall-of-famers. Russell averaged 15 ppg for his career. He shot .44% from the floor, which is atrocious for a center. One of the FIVE hall-of-famers that helped carry Bill offensively (Bob Cousy) said “Jordan had no weaknesses. No imperfections. He's the Mona Lisa of basketball. I agree with everyone else in the world that Michael Jordan is the best player ever to play this game, BY FAR." The leprechaun himself (Red Auerbach) when asked in an Esquire interview in late 90s who he’d pick between Bill Russell and Jordan said “Jordan. You gotta be realistic. Listen, everybody knows what I think of Russell. What he did for me. I love Russell. This isn't anything against him. Out of all the centers who've ever played, I'd pick him first. But Jordan does things nobody could ever do, including selling tickets. He's electrifying on offense, and he is pretty damn good on defense, too. The thing I love about Jordan, the thing I've always loved, is that he works. He works, and he makes every single player on the floor with him better, every time he's on the floor. And he's a leader."

The point you were making about Bill Russell playing plumbers or things like that is because until 1964 when they threatened to strike during the very first televised all-star game they were getting paid shit and nothing was provided to them. Meaning they had to pay for their own trainer and nutrition, they were also being told by the owners that they will play no matter what even if they had a game on friday night and then noon the next day so there was no recovery. It got to the point that the players had to get part time jobs during the summer to support their family. It is not that they were those things by day and then occasionally played ball it was they were ball players first and even then the money they made from that was not enough. Here is a link that explains all of this better.

that dummy JJ R. said! Yes, some worked 2nd jobs, but they weren't making even close to a million! they still had jobs, family and responsibilities! they worked and played in the league. can you get with that?? Those were NBA players who set the narrative for what was to come.
Those players and up to the 2000 played Basketball at a very high level physically and mentally. Without them there is no NBA. Mr. Russell like Mr. Chamberlain were great athletes. Can't even imagine Luka, or Jokic's jolly fat butts trying to play against those dudes in their prime. It's cool you looking at comparisons, and that you even think for a second Leflop is on MJ's level. Fact is it ain't even close. Point is don't think it's cool to be disrespectful to the guys that came before them and especially not the greats. 11 chips is 11 chips. the games were still played, and they were played by the players that made the league. Stop Cap with all that ridiculous crap.
