One evening I went to my room and prayed Lord show me all that needs to be changed in me, tell me what’s wrong in me. “He said, ‘I’d much rather tell you all I love in you!” I burst, I lost it I just bawled as He poured out everything He loves about me. It still makes me burst into tears and my heart wants to explode with the Love!

@@dfischer1709 You're right in saying that we shouldn't seek experiences. Experiences sometimes come when we least expect them. His true chastisement is only necessary when we're doing outright sin, things which we know better than to do. However, the Holy Spirit's correction is mostly gentle, and more often than not, a believer who is doing well is far harder on his or herself than God is. King David put it this way: "You have also given me the shield of your salvation, and your right hand upholds me. Your gentleness has made me great." (Psalm 18:35) It is his gentleness in his correction, and the loving manner in which it is administered that brings the necessary changes we need. That being said, there's nothing wrong in wanting or needing to have a tangible experience with God, especially in desperation or in times when we need his manifest presence to guide us when things seem unclear or chaotic. True, we won't always feel some tingly feeling, but an experience with Him that puts you on your face in reverence is never unhealthy.

I too burst into tears. Because Jesus would rather tell us how much He loves us than to show us what's wrong... I fell asleep crying but finally peace was ruling instead of the negativity. If you select and select and keep on selecting but never dividing the word and seeking out the truth from scriptures which parallel it's application you are left believing a lie because you use human interpretation and logic of man without scriptural reasoning and revelation. The Word reveals itself. The passage is a passage on brotherly love and love of God. It describes the inner motives of persons enlightened by the Truth of God and how they choose to live before God and before men. It claims that in this way a sinfree life is possible and attainable through obedience to "the anointing" . Read the scripture not a verse in isolation. It tells you about Cain, it Always goes back to the "beginning" . It tells you about Satan (the accuser/Opposer) and says that he was "sinning from the beginning". Read the book, not a verse in isolation. It says the "darkness is passing away" . When does darkness pass is it not when light has come and entered and stays? It speaks about "the world and its desires pass away" when does this occur is it not when we are cleansed and made new by the Word of God? What then is John speaking about? He tells us about a purification that takes place when we walk in the light and fellowship with one another. He speaks about a love for your brother that is as strong as the love Christ has shown by laying down His life and a hate as strong as Cain's that envied his brother, deceived him and then murdered him for self-satisfaction. What then is John saying? Again, I implore you to read the book and not a verse out if its context. There is so much more to be said in this regard but here is not the place. Read the Word as the Holy Spirit the voice of truth to lead you into all truth, it is his good pleasure to give you the kingdom in all its fullness. Shalom✨🙏🏾

Thank you so much! I so needed this word... I stopped enjoying reading the word because I feel worse afterwards over the years...just feel like I couldn’t measure up... knew this was wrong but didn’t know what the missing link or connection with God ...always feeling condemned and confused instead of loved. Never heard it preached about how we can use the word to beat ourselves up instead of receiving the love He has for us ...I just need to know He loves me instead of me just judging myself all the time as in out of balance...skipping the scriptures about love, mercy and grace . Maybe I will be able to live others more deeply to !
Same here. It was just a checklist of my failures. Even though in my heart I wanted to be free from anything sinful. I lived in judgement while reading, and not receiving grace to change. Thank you Jesus, thank you Father God for clarity through Dan’s message.

“Submit”: yield and adapt I love that definition. I had substituted “trust” for “submit”, and had gotten a better understanding of submitting to God. Either way, “submit” has a much more positive connotation now.

I'm no great theologian but surely the transformation is all about God's timing, His sanctifying work, the process that each individual goes through to walk the new life. Someone compared it to a onion where there are many layers and God strips away the layers that have shaped us pre Jesus to get to the core of who we really are in Him. Am I a better man than I was 15 years ago when I confessed Jesus as Lord and saviour?.....yes. is there stuff, scars that He is taking me through?....yes. transformation i believe is a process. Youre not an onion, you're a new creation. The deeper your hunger for holiness, the quicker your new man is gonna grow in the Lord. Your not your issues, unless you believe you are. You'll be whatever you believe by faith. If you use your faith to align with God's Word, His Grace is gonna go to work on growing you in Christ. He bore your scars, your pains, your issues. We think our ability to sin still labels us as sinners, because we believe that, that is the fruit we produce. Make the tree good and the fruit will be good. We bare bad fruit because the tree is bad. We can't make the fruit good but we can make the tree good then the fruit will be good. Trees thrive and produce good fruit when they are treated with the right fertiliser and taken care of. I was a bad tree in a bad garden that has been transplanted into a good garden by living waters, I must now let the good fertiliser transform me into a good tree. Yet another sermon from Dan that's socked me in that face. LOL When he said the part about not letting the past and what people did become our identity, it spoke to me (as it has in other sermons where he's said it) because I still tend to live in victim/why me mode as I have the most of my life; self pity is my automatic go-to (lifelong) because my mom was narcissistic and abusive, then when at school the kids made fun of me relentlessly and lowered my self esteem to near zero. STILL at 48 I'm struggling with that. I haven't allowed God to work on that in me yet although it feels like I tried to. But I'm now beginning to.

As we know truth is a person and Jesus told us to seek knock and ask ,communing with the Lord in prayer would seem to be a good way to get to know him who is the truth....
What the first person said is true. I've dealt with anxiety and sometimes still do. What helped was reading His word, watching a lot of teachings until they started to change me from the inside out and most importantly: see yourself the way God sees you. If i need to work, i always think "i can't do it but God believes in me so that means that i can through Him."
My guess from my experience with terrible anxiety is that your problem is with Trust. Faith comes by Love, the only way i got better is to seek God's Love for me, and getting his leading to be around safe people.
I was trapped in legalism too for years. It almost destroyed my marriage. Thank you Jesus for transforming me through Dan’s message and redeeming my marriage and my spirit. I was a Pharisee judging everyone, looking for sin in the people I went to church with, all the while judging myself everyday. Constantly failing, never living up because I was judged for my own judgement.
One evening I went to my room and prayed Lord show me all that needs to be changed in me, tell me what’s wrong in me. “He said, ‘I’d much rather tell you all I love in you!” I burst, I lost it I just bawled as He poured out everything He loves about me. It still makes me burst into tears and my heart wants to explode with the Love!

@@dfischer1709 You're right in saying that we shouldn't seek experiences. Experiences sometimes come when we least expect them. His true chastisement is only necessary when we're doing outright sin, things which we know better than to do.
However, the Holy Spirit's correction is mostly gentle, and more often than not, a believer who is doing well is far harder on his or herself than God is.
King David put it this way: "You have also given me the shield of your salvation, and your right hand upholds me. Your gentleness has made me great." (Psalm 18:35)
It is his gentleness in his correction, and the loving manner in which it is administered that brings the necessary changes we need.
That being said, there's nothing wrong in wanting or needing to have a tangible experience with God, especially in desperation or in times when we need his manifest presence to guide us when things seem unclear or chaotic.
True, we won't always feel some tingly feeling, but an experience with Him that puts you on your face in reverence is never unhealthy.

If you select and select and keep on selecting but never dividing the word and seeking out the truth from scriptures which parallel it's application you are left believing a lie because you use human interpretation and logic of man without scriptural reasoning and revelation. The Word reveals itself. The passage is a passage on brotherly love and love of God. It describes the inner motives of persons enlightened by the Truth of God and how they choose to live before God and before men.
It claims that in this way a sinfree life is possible and attainable through obedience to "the anointing" .
Read the scripture not a verse in isolation. It tells you about Cain, it Always goes back to the "beginning" . It tells you about Satan (the accuser/Opposer) and says that he was "sinning from the beginning".
Read the book, not a verse in isolation. It says the "darkness is passing away" . When does darkness pass is it not when light has come and entered and stays? It speaks about "the world and its desires pass away" when does this occur is it not when we are cleansed and made new by the Word of God?
What then is John speaking about?
He tells us about a purification that takes place when we walk in the light and fellowship with one another. He speaks about a love for your brother that is as strong as the love Christ has shown by laying down His life and a hate as strong as Cain's that envied his brother, deceived him and then murdered him for self-satisfaction. What then is John saying? Again, I implore you to read the book and not a verse out if its context. There is so much more to be said in this regard but here is not the place. Read the Word as the Holy Spirit the voice of truth to lead you into all truth, it is his good pleasure to give you the kingdom in all its fullness. Shalom✨🙏🏾

Thank you so much! I so needed this word... I stopped enjoying reading the word because I feel worse afterwards over the years...just feel like I couldn’t measure up... knew this was wrong but didn’t know what the missing link or connection with God ...always feeling condemned and confused instead of loved. Never heard it preached about how we can use the word to beat ourselves up instead of receiving the love He has for us ...I just need to know He loves me instead of me just judging myself all the time as in out of balance...skipping the scriptures about love, mercy and grace . Maybe I will be able to live others more deeply to !

I'm no great theologian but surely the transformation is all about God's timing, His sanctifying work, the process that each individual goes through to walk the new life. Someone compared it to a onion where there are many layers and God strips away the layers that have shaped us pre Jesus to get to the core of who we really are in Him. Am I a better man than I was 15 years ago when I confessed Jesus as Lord and saviour?.....yes. is there stuff, scars that He is taking me through?....yes. transformation i believe is a process. Some have more scars than others that need dealing with.

Youre not an onion, you're a new creation. The deeper your hunger for holiness, the quicker your new man is gonna grow in the Lord. Your not your issues, unless you believe you are. You'll be whatever you believe by faith. If you use your faith to align with God's Word, His Grace is gonna go to work on growing you in Christ. He bore your scars, your pains, your issues. Unless you believe you still ate those things and nor the New Man he made you.

Don't just confess but believe what you are saying, you are repeating back to God what he has said about you.

* How do I make what God says I am, mine?
* How do I put off the flesh without getting into works? By realizing that it was not what I was created to be. In a place of intimacy and prayer, I separate it from my true new biblical identity.

* If I do not see myself the way He sees me, I will never approach Him with boldness and live unveiled and start where He finished.
* I will try to accomplish what He has already accomplished and prove to myself that I can’t and I mark myself for where I am not instead of where he has already placed me.

* Through Jesus he was willing to see me apart from what I have done wrong to get me to what He created me for.

* I have died with Christ, and He has set me free from the spiritual powers of this world. For I have died to this life, and my real life is hidden with Christ in God.
* Father I did not say a prayer just to get me to heaven. I said a prayer and denied myself so I can take up my cross and follow You so You can get heaven back into me, the way you intended it to be from the beginning You created me in Your image, after Your own likeness; to be Your image on the earth.
* Jesus you came to save that which was lost; your image. God, You created me in Your image but Adam lost it when he ate of the tree. That image that was lost was restored to me when I was born again and I thank You that as I get to know you better I am becoming more like that image every day.
* I triumph over the devil and the flesh because of the Blood of the Lamb the word of my testimony but most of all because I do not love my life unto death.
* Father I was not created to be a slave to sin and the flesh. Father, You never made me for anger. You never made me to stand for my own rights and be broken-hearted, disappointed and live for my own gain, my own desire and my own will.
* You made me into Your image and to mirror Your image.
* I am a new wine-skin that can hold the new wine.
* I will not build on the flesh I will pursue You and build on the Spirit I am born again and new life has come.
* I put off the things that Adam became when he ate of the tree, the things that sin made me to be. I won’t listen to that serpent anymore. I won’t accept anything that came from that tree.
* Anything that is still in me that came through the fall I surrender. I don’t want me I want Your image, the image You created me to be, to be formed in me.
* I will only accept that which comes from the tree of life.
* If I cannot find it in the life of Jesus I don’t want to find it in my heart I give myself to you whole-heartedly, unreservedly I don’t want nothing of me.
* I deny myself the best I understand, I hold nothing back, take me for my word God. Mould me and shape me, let Grace overtake me. Challenge me in every way, correct me in every way and lead me through life in your love.
* I hold nothing back the best I understand I am telling you that I am yours. Consume me in Grace and righteousness.
* I am not judged I am not condemned, I am not a failure I am loved by You. I am a son of the Most High God. I am not a sinner trying to be a Christian no I am a son that has been accepted by the God of creation and I am loved by Him.
* Father I want you, I put on the new man. I am a Man led by your Holy Spirit. I am: A Man of Love, A Man of Joy A Man of Peace, A Man of Patience, A Man of Kindness, A Man of Goodness, A Man of Faithfulness, A Man of Gentleness, A Man of Self-Control. A man that takes no account when suffered wrong. The days of jealousy, hurt and pride is over because it is not who I am. No man can tear me down they can only encourage me and build me up. No man can disappoint me because I have become the love of God.
* I will not let sin against me become sin inside me.
* I put off the old, it is a lie. It is not what You made me to be.
* Everything the world taught me to be I call it dead and I put on Christ I am not alive for me, I am alive for You and Your image. Nothing can stop me.
* I will manifest Your nature.
* I will manifest Your will.
* I will manifest Your love every day of my life.
* I submit myself to You. I retain no rights but the right to be like You, to live like You and to look like You.
* Mercy wakes me up every day to look more like my Daddy.
* I am in Christ and Christ is in me. I am selfless and free.
* Father God, I put You on by faith and your Grace is masterfully moulding me and sketching and edging me and shaping me after Your image.
* Holy Spirit have Your way and make me beautiful in Christ. Let the world desire You because of what they see in me and let the world know who You are because I am alive.
* Farther I have not just taken up my cross but I have denied myself. Self is not my master, You are. I am led by Holy Spirit 24 hours a day.
* I am so consumed by You that when I look in a mirror; You stare back at me.
* Farther, You did not send Your Son to die on the cross to forgive my sins so that someday I can go to a place called heaven.
* Jesus You paid a price to remove my sin, to get Your identity, Your nature and Your Spirit back into me. In other words, it is not all about me getting to heaven, it is about getting heaven back into me, so I can become what you were intended to be from the beginning apart from sin.
* Jesus You are the Lamb of God who takes away the sin off the world. I do not have to sin.
* Because of the Power of the Cross I do not live with a sin identity but with a righteousness identity.
* Father you have dressed me with a cloak righteousness.
* I am Righteous because I have been washed with the Blood of the Lamb.
* I live righteous conscience and not sin conscience.
* I bear good Fruit. We think our ability to sin still labels us as sinners, because we believe that, that is the fruit we produce. Make the tree good and the fruit will be good. We bare bad fruit because the tree is bad. We can't make the fruit good but we can make the tree good then the fruit will be good.
Trees thrive and produce good fruit when they are treated with the right fertiliser and taken care of. I was a bad tree in a bad garden that has been transplanted into a good garden by living waters, I must now let the good fertiliser transform me into a good tree. This is done by feeding myself with the word. When the tree is good the fruit will automatically be good.

Yet another sermon from Dan that's socked me in that face. LOL When he said the part about not letting the past and what people did become our identity, it spoke to me (as it has in other sermons where he's said it) because I still tend to live in victim/why me mode as I have the most of my life; self pity is my automatic go-to (lifelong) because my mom was narcissistic and abusive, then when at school the kids made fun of me relentlessly and lowered my self esteem to near zero. STILL at 48 I'm struggling with that. I haven't allowed God to work on that in me yet although it feels like I tried to. But I'm now beginning to.
Praise my King GOD almighty, my prince of peace JESUS the messiah!

What the first person said is true. I've dealt with anxiety and sometimes still do. What helped was reading His word, watching a lot of teachings until they started to change me from the inside out and most importantly: see yourself the way God sees you. If i need to work, i always think "i can't do it but God believes in me so that means that i can through Him."
My guess from my experience with terrible anxiety is that your problem is with Trust. Faith comes by Love, the only way i got better is to seek God's Love for me, and getting his leading to be around safe people.

I was trapped in legalism too for years. It almost destroyed my marriage. Thank you Jesus for transforming me through Dan’s message and redeeming my marriage and my spirit. I was a Pharisee judging everyone, looking for sin in the people I went to church with, all the while judging myself everyday. Constantly failing, never living up because I was judged for my own judgement.
