- This is the second year A.I. Light Show has brought the fire at DJX, only this time they came with lots of improvement. Greg Notaro walks us through basic functionality of the Force 1.0 & answers one of the biggest questions people had as far as support.

Had the pleasure of meeting Greg at the show... I probably spent 30 minutes or more talking to him, asking questions and watching his program in action... I was impressed enough that I ordered a unit on the spot...Greg is a really nice guy and very informative... Looking forward to getting my unit and testing it out.
I love how they took a lot of the feedback from us last year and actually went back and made those changes. It shows that attention to detail & gathering information from those closest to the action that have to use it every weekend.

It’s definitely time for this type of technology to make its way into the DJ space. It’s a huge market and it’s great to hear/see another company pushing a similar idea.
How could I acquire one of these? Was just at expo but did not notice this there. Would love to talk more about this!
This would save so much time and effort. I dj at a smaller venue and play a lot of requests/random tempo songs. This would basically transform the basic light show we have now (strobe, blackout, jump, etc) into a flashy multi-action show!

Thanks for the interview! Did he say anything about live music? Like, would I be able to use this with my band playing live shows?
Yeah, live music works too. Just make sure your audio source is coming from a balanced out. There is footage on their Instagram of a live band using it for their lighting.

Will this work with Beam 230 r7 lights?
I checked this device out while I was there. Awesome, but the price is steep.
Anytime new tech like this comes along, it will be expensive. It's an investment into your company to enhance your guests experience.
@EliteEventsEntertainment Taking the time to learn to program dmx would do that too. This is an easy way around that if you are in a situation to spend that much. I am not.. lol. Again awesome product, just hoping for a price similar to the wmx-1.
@KrisSzanto and so was the team that developed it. They were really wanting the price of $750 to be the final retail, but unfortunately because of the price-hike & supply chain issues with microchips, it drove the price up. Hopefully once we are making the chips here in the United States, the price and supply issues will be close to Non-existent and help get prices more reeled in.
Did you pick one up at the show or are you still waiting for the retail release?

@@djtravismcguire Nice, looking forward to a more in depth review of it. I may try to get one when it releases to retail to compare it with the patterns/effects Maestro is using.
From what I have experienced so far the Maestro patterns look better with multiple rgb fixtures. It seems like AILightShow is just flashing random patterns and colors.
@@joedeejay9076 depends on what mode you're in with AILS. I do agree that I think MaestroDMX handles pixels a little better from what I've seen, but that delay has me egh. Every video I've seen from the beta, seems like there is a delay when they kick comes in at first, then it catches up. AILS doesn't miss a single beat from what I've seen up to the point.
@@djtravismcguire The delay in the first video I posted was my fault as my OBS settings were not properly tuned in for the video/audio capture. I don't notice any significant delay in reactivity using it in my home lab or at events.
The more recent videos posted to the group including the public wedding one I captured reflect the in person experience more closely now.
@@joedeejay9076 ah, gotcha. I think btoh products have their pros & cons. I do plan on getting MaestroDMX as well. I'm not loyal to either one, but I do love that this technology is coming out from two small start-ups instead of your big-box brands like ADJ & Chauvet.
