This is one of your best, Jose'!!! I've been following Chris for a few years now and have gotten so much from all of his videos, but especially this podcast. I'm not an Orchestral player, but I believe most of what Chris talks about can cover commercial and other genres of playing as well. It's too late for me to try and go the route of auditioning for an orchestra, etc., I do however practice more like a Symphonic player while doing my routine and fundamentals and I LOVE Symphonic music!!! My background is that I was 2nd Trpt. for Chicago's top High Society Orchestra, usually played 3rd or 4th for shows passing through, like Rich Little and Joan Rivers, Contracted horns and played for three shows with the Temptations and played a slew of Sixties shows like Leslie Gore, Frankie Avalon, Lou Christie and more. And of course, Big Bands! After a twenty year layoff I've since been in a British Style Brass Band and a Community Member in two University bands and a Big Band. Even though Chris thinks he's long winded, it's during this thought process that the "nuggets" of incredible, enlightening information came out, at least for me! Chris is a fountain of information and experience and is so willing to share with all of us, that love trumpet playing, no matter what level of playing we're at...THANK YOU!!!

Thanks Glenn! Glad to hear that you enjoyed listening as much as I did talking with Chris. I definitely want to get him back again!
