I live near Ft. Lauderdale (Coral Springs), and had no idea the beaches there looked so Caribbean style! Emerald color water and clear!
Yes the beach is awesome. I was surprised with the Caribbeanl-like waters too its a big reason why why I moved here

Destin and the Pensacola are the greatest beach in the country. Emerald color powdery white sand clean beach.

I love Pensacola Beach my favorite place it's awesome . beautiful white sand and Cool breeze blowing beautiful Beach water such a relaxing place to be and enjoy been going there at least twice a month and great hotels there at the beach too I will be back a week from now

Nice update. I am also planning to move , maybe 2 hours inland from the Pensacola beach ( or Alabama )in future. I am planning to drive from Dallas, Texas next month , to check out some properties or lands. How's the temperature in November , December, January , February in Pensacola? Which part of Pensacola is safe ( like West or East or South or North )?Thank you.
Hi Kumar! Thanks for being here! Congrats on your upcoming move!! Its really nice right now still hitting 80 and may cool down in the next few weeks, jts temperate all winter but we occasionally get the North wind comes our way and we get days down into 20 and 30s but that doesn't usually last long. I love winter here, I really do even with the few chilly days. Safe travels to you!

Looking at moving back to Pensacola at the beginning of the new year. Hopefully things are somewhat back to normal after the hurricane and covid and the bridge is open. thanks for keeping us updated.
Hi Robert! Yes I would think for the most part even now we are back, bridge to open in the next couple week, hopefully. The only other really obvious tung is the pier, so sad, I haven't heard anything when thats getting fixed. Congrats on your upcoming move!

The water most days is between turquoise or emerald near the coast and then of course gets darker in the deep. When we have a storm come through things get churned up and the waves can be large so then the color is not so bright
Lucky you! I grew up there. Just Heaven on Earth. Hopefully hurricane season will be kind for many years.

There is a nice campground by Fort Pickens its
in the National Park and right by the beach too!

I’m from Texas and we can bring our own canopies etc. is the same allowed down at these beaches? Looks like the ones in the video are all the same so do you rent those or are they part of the hotels? New traveler here so sorry for the dumb question lol
Hi Sema! Yes you can bring tent/canopies they are allowed tons of people use those. Some bring multiple and its a little mini canopy city on the beach for the day. I haven't seen rental company have those usually just chairs and umbrellas. Have a fun time!

I love the shallow area right there perfect for kids is it always like that and are there other calm beaches you know of in florida or perfect spots for kids?
The beach can change but mostly its like that. Unless storm then its a bit more rough, also many locals go to the sound side over by the boardwalk since its always calmer there

I hate that Hemingway's is gone. We just discovered them recently and really enjoyed the menu and the view.

Ooh fun!!! I love watching stuff before my vacation it gets me so excited 😁 glad this helped!! Some other fun spots in Pensacola Beach, for all the grown-ups.... Sandshaker for the original bushwacker. Yum!! Bands on the Beach every Tuesday evening. Bring a chair and a cooler, very fun (family friendly too), Paradise Inn has live music every Sunday afternoon, locals love this!! I do too, watch the sunset over the sound lots of outdoor seating. Bamboo Willie's on the boardwalk is fun too. A huge row of Blended yummies if you like that. I like Shaggys bar and grill too,, fun outdoor seating with lights and a nice view from sunset. Plus HH specials food and drinks... Im so excited for you! You will have so much fun!!
Oh and the Pensacola Bay Cruises are now open and they do have sunset cruises with cash bar, totally fun date night or group fun 😉

Hey There Shaquilla!! Happy Absolutely Amazing Birthday to you!! So much to do! I love Shaggys for casual seafood and other things they have a cool shark in front to take a picture, and fun lights and bright colors! Can't go wrong with Peg Leg Pete's or Flounders, those are favorites around here. Flounders has a cool hippie mini van thats fun for pics, check out Alvin's on the boardwalk, they have a fun oversized lifeguard chair for fun.
I would maybe look into Pensacola Bay Cruises, from Downtown to the Beach and back, fun little ocean cruise! Fort Pickens is fun, Laguna's has go carts, parasailing, and climbing things, and UFO Mini Golf and Arcade are fun (next to Crabs Restaurants), Dolphin cruises, also just a little drive in Navarre Beach they have a turtle conservation, also Gulf Breeze Zoo not far from Pensacola Beach. Take a fun pic by the Pensacola Beach sign over in the RV Park tiki bar (Park back in the Shrimp Basket Parking lot there is a path over to the tiki bar outside. Buy a Kite to fly ;)

I am going to Pensacola on July 10th do you recommended anything I should bring to the beach?
Oh wow!! That is very exciting!! I am sure you can't wait! So I would certainly bring a cooler drinks snacks and allthat, I use a cooler bag because it's easier to carry, also chairs or towels, umbrella or hats Bluetooth speakers maybe. I also like water sealed pouch for my phone, just a few things I could think of. I am sure you will have so much fun 😘

Sadly, the pier will not be repaired anytime soon. They haven't even started. However...the Navarre Fishing Pier is open, and it's a lovely 20(?) minute drive from Pensacola Beach through Gulf Islands National Park. Not bad! :)

Hi Samuel! Congrats on your move!! That is super exciting! I love Pensacola, the beach obviously but lots of other things too, I moved from Minnesota and its just so different. It is a small town. And has that feel. If you go out of town it feels very rural, and there can be neighborhoods that are mixed with average and nice homes and trailers its not bad just different and some streets don't have sidewalks. I was surprised I don't see mosquitos... it is temperate in the winter some days can be chilly even cold if the north sends the frozen this way, I love the festivals and the year round gallery night and farmers market, lots to explore breweries and restaurants, nature, history. Thank you for this vid. I lived in Martin County before the developers destroyed the pristine coastline there. It was much like that section of quiet beach you showed.
A question-is that Felix's by the same owner that has Felix's on Mobile Bay? I hope so-thats a favorite of mine!

That is sad about the coast development, so glad we still have some left its such a precious and quiet place to be. Oh, and I'm not sure if same owner but I hear really good things about Felix's, multiple recommendations and I can't wait to try it!

Hi Michael! There is so much to do!! If you like li e music, there's lots on Pensacola Beach, Bamboo Willie's, Sandshaker (get the Original Bushwacker), I like The Dock (locals favorite) who may have live or just great music and it's on the beach great for sunset! I love Paradise Inn bar with Sunday Afternoon Live Music outdoors, funky little spot but awesome.
Also Downtown Pensacola has a lot to offer, breweries. Restaurants, wine bar thats super cool, Adult only arcade. Also lots of museums, peddle pub, tours by bus or Segway. On the beach, Peg Leg Pete's is one of my favorite places to eat, should be less crowded in Sept.
Glow paddle is fun nightime event with kayaks that glow, dolphin cruise (chase-n-fins is awesome) and bring your own cooler of drinks its actually really fun especially with friends. Check out Grafitti Bridge for group selfie and ALGA Brewery for the famous Pensacola Postcard Mural for a great photo op. One of my favorite things is visiting breweries there are many! I love the quirky Goat Lips Chew and BrewHaus north Pensacola, otherwise some right downtown BigTop, 55 Barrel.... o'Rileys isn't a brewery but its tons of fun! Oh and the whole area around World of Beer is great. OGave, Grafitti Pizza, Seville Quarter has amazing night life
Go to Irish pub McGuires where they have a million dollars on the ceiling.
Also if you like water activities parasail, jetskis, rent pontoon or sunset cruises!

No pass needed! Just find a good spot, and not in the national park of course.

Hey, great questions!! It's just under 3 miles quiet beach to the entrance of the National Park. Pensacola airport is closest once the bridge opens, currently is a long drive, but check out Valparaiso by Fort Walton Beach. Bridge to Pensacola scheduled to be open end of May!!
What beach is this? I see online that Pensacola has many different named beaches.
Casino Beach is the main one, large (free) parking lot and restaurants right on the gulf, and withing walking distance of the Boardwalk, Flounders and Whiskey Joe's (which is a brand new restaurant)

My Coldwell Banker Realty office is on Pensacola Beach. With the bridge being out, I have only been there maybe 5 times since the bridge has been out. It went from a 25 minute commute to 1 to 2 hours to get there from Perdido. Hopefully , it will reopen the end of this month.

Which video editor to you use?And are you using a gimbal to film with?
I use cyberlink powerdirector to edit, and I just use my gopro hero 8 for video, has hyperstabilzation setting so thats great. Just doesn't take perfect dark videos. But otherwise I am really happy with it

Yes when we arrived in Destin for hurricane opal most of Dustin Pensacola and some parts of eglin had six feet of sand that was washed in which was amazing.
He walked around the beach houses and you were actually looking at the second level of many of these homes with valuables buried in sand from boats to cars to whatever. It was actually very orderly hurricane we only have a few cases of looting but overall the rescue operation went very smoothly
Thats incredible and interesting. That sand being pushed around is quite something, quite an experience you'll probably never forget

Yes! The sand is beautiful I've been to islands in the Caribbean and Mexico beaches and I feel like Pensacola and the Gulf Coast here has one of the top beaches because of the sand, your toesies will be delighted 😀

Of course!! Its going to be really hot, if we get rain its afternoon showers usually unless we get hurricane or tropical storm in the area, then all bets are off, of course... overall you will probably see lots of sun and need that sunscreen and hats!

Hi Quinton!! I personally am closest to Pensacola Beach so I end up there more and live it. But Gulf Shores is awesome!! I have a new video coming out soon. Lots to do there too. Gulf Shores probably has more people overall. Hard to say which is better, both are great! 😃

I totally understand. Love your youtube name. Its how I felt years ago living in Minnesota just about the furthest from any ocean, I couldn't wait to get to the beach, and I fell in love with this lovely gulf coast ❤ and had to make the move!
Is Fort Pickens closed? I keep seeing that on the National Park website.
It is open, I should make a trip over there again, its been a while, campground is open too.
The boat is not stopping at Fort Pickens though I believe the dock may be damaged. So just Pensacola and the Boardwalk for the boat shuttle.

Are there lifeguards or many sharks
Pensacola Beach or they call it Casino Beach has several lifeguards during summer season and don't often hear of sharks I usually stay close to shore myself

Grand Marlin is our favorite restaurant there!

Yes, it's a wonderful place to live, especially the outer areas like Cantonment, Milton, Pace they are great and still close to all the good stuff

Hi Dawn!! I have stayed at Margaritaville and Hampton Inn. There are lots of places. Hotels and rentals. I like the Hampton or Hilton which are on the beach and really close to lots of things, the boardwalk and restaurants and the beach of course.
I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express before , it was nice.
They have a casino there?

It’s so funny to see others opinions on Pensacola.. I grew up there (live in WA state now) and yes Pensacola beach is beautiful but please if you’re planning a vacation stay away from Pensacola it self. Better to just go somewhere else In FL tbh. Pensacola is 👎
