Hello, can someone tell me how did they knew they are females? How can you distinct female from male on such a young age?
Ana Raluca this is pre recorded so they probably determined the sex of the birds later on.
The temp of the incubator is a factor.
rcoffey7 actually that’s yet to be confirmed. They would like most falconers, have had a DNA test done since this is pre recorded footage.

They’re eating Mouse Meat without bones or hair in it. Basically the softest parts. Owlets can’t make pellets so they shouldn’t eat bones or hair.

I have the super barn owl ,any information that you need about the super brain owl, I have it.
+Anthony Sultana I had never seen an Owl so up close until I watched this channel. I find the Owl to be quite interesting. I did not realize that they could be a friendly animal. I did always hear that they were a very smart animal.
I have the most intelligent barn owl in the world .Barn owl is half bird and half human.The head is human the rest is bird.

Really intelligent and interesting animal..I recently returned from various areas of Colorado,, and was so close to seeing an Owl and all his features. It was the first time I had been ever to see one so close. Your story is very interesting,,, as I am an Animal Lover anyway.

When the bird hatch you must hold him in your hand first, to smell you, and here your voice..Second you must feed him in your hand like a human baby.Third always put a napkin with your sweat odor under it ,to make him think you are near him.

Mine is for education .But I do release some in the wild. But the ones to be released in the wild ,I leave their parents to take care of them ,and teach them ,how to hunt,till they decide to live on their own.
