BLACKTAIL/SARGO fishing STILBAAI South Africa!

Blacktail or Sargo fishing in Stilbaai South Africa. On our last day, again I tried for a white mussel cracker or brusher. With only 1 pull and the sea getting big very quickly, I changed tactics to see if the bank fish were out to play. Unfortunately today was not my day, with only a few missed shots here and there.
Blacktail or Srago are very aggresive feeder, feeding on numerous baits, including, red bait, prawns, crayfish, pilchards and many more.
Ideal conditions are good white working water with gullies or holes, Blacktail or Sargo are very underrated as table fair & in my honest opinion are extremely good eating. Blacktail or Sargo have a nice firm meat with very little bloodlline.
Ideal tackle for catching Blacktail or Sargo is a 1/O - 3/O depending on the size of the Blacktail or Sargo, with about 30cm of .55mm hooksnoot.
