put your front toes right between the screws and flick a little bit diagonal all the way up the nose to get a buttery flip. Also levels out your board really well and sets you up for a clean catch. Keep your toes as straight (unpointed) as possible. That’s if you have a powerful enough flick. I learned this from one of my previously sponsored friends with one of the cleanest styles I’ve ever seen.
It make it flip super fast and suck to your feet too. I used to love doing them that way but my kickflips now just look way better and are more consistent and comfortable
@@resinds.p4898you need to keep your back knee bent higher/for more time then. Hang on a pull up bar and tighten your core and practice lifting your knees as fast as possible, you’ll get there.
I nearly landed my first KF at the weekend. 43 years of age and getting back into skating. When I used to skate when younger there was no TH-cam , I could Ollie and shuv but not much else as it was mostly word of mouth and I didn’t know too many other skaters where I lived.
Dude same! 43 and havent really sksted since being a teen, and just got a board yesterday. Feels so good to be back on. cant wait to land my first kickflip as an old timer lol.. "Lets Gooo!!" 🙏
Same, older skater here(47). KFs was dark magic wizardry pre-TH-cam. My kids brought me into it again and it is great fun. KF progression and I will land them.
Daaaaammmnnn i literally had trouble with my kixkflips seeing this short literaly made the difference thank you!!!! Now i just have to land more times then not
I was able to kick flip before I started finally getting back into skating and I started to get them down crispy then sprained my ankle it’s like I’m flicking down cause I’m scared of getting hurt again 😭
Jup, it looks like it, I skated the shoe and it wasn’t bad at all (stopped skating in them cuz the outsole was dead) Now I skate in sb dunks and I prefer those, because the’re way easier to put on and it feels like that gum outsole really IS a difference maker.
This makes hella sense

My problem is my back foot levels the board again after i try to flip so i cancel my flip midway with my back foot

Saaaame, i guess the fix would be to try and stop being a pussy and jump higher? @@resinds.p4898
Its crazy how much of a difference there is between being able to do a cool trick once and being able to land it perfectly every single time
I've never seen your kickflips but I can tell you have expert ones by how well you explained them.
Thanks a lot that foot positioning on the tail is amazing af
Used to be able to kick flip very well when I was 15-16. I can do 30 varial flips before I land a kickflip

i learned that pop thing by watching kader kickflips and it's a game changer
those pants are hella drippy bro. and they go real nice with the shoes
Dope kicks bro
This is honestly the only video I've seen that gives this much detail thank you man
This helps I have been skating for 3 years and can't land kickflips yet!
Same frl dude, only solid trick I got rn is pop shuvs 😆
@@axelsb08 besides bored slide same here although I haven't skated in a while same here
Lol want to put my opinions in but this man covered it pretty well.
The pop spot tip might be what I needed. I swear sometimes I'm going to land a varial flip first
Varials are easier than kickflips
@@cobrak1ngsI’m so glad someone said it, simple fact has confused me for years
Man, thank you. That tip about the back foot adjacent to the bolts was a winner
Dude so much closer to landing it now
appreciated bro
battled this trick on and off for a year, some day it just clicked and its my go to trick now. i even do kickflip before ollie for warmup now
Thanks my guy!
Godly tips
Dude, I’ve been trying to learn how to kick flip and I think I might get today because of this tip I am getting closer to kick flip now
Thank bro!
Thank you ❤
Daaaaammmnnn i literally had trouble with my kixkflips seeing this short literaly made the difference thank you!!!! Now i just have to land more times then not
Underrated tips 🤘
Haha thx! I’ve been practicing kick flips and this my board actually flip. Great explaining!
This tips helped me so much
Thanks
Thank you so much
Lower does not increase speed when you kickflip you should think of it as two motions the hight and then the flick
Thanks dude! 👍
Lmao you just helped me kickflip my tech deck
Thx so much
Back foot -perfect center. Then the ollie will pop level and the flip will be a perfect spiral football not a wobbly mess.
oh yeah this is what i needed
Cool
Thanks bro
I used to be able to kickflip but now the board always spins frontside when i go for the landing. Anyone know any tips
Thanks a lot, i got the flick 1 att
I was able to kick flip before I started finally getting back into skating and I started to get them down crispy then sprained my ankle it’s like I’m flicking down cause I’m scared of getting hurt again 😭
Like back foot with the left bolts? Or u mean just closer to bolts and not edge?
Bro I have those same dunks 🔥
is that a koolaid board
Fuck yes
Yeah
It keeps landing primo
should the front ankle be more stiff or loose on the flick?
What shoes you got on they fire
What do you say to some one wanting to board but is older in there 30s
Are those the Decon George Green sbs ?

Step 0 : know how to kickflip
I still can’t
I can't keep my front foot on
Hit what plus? 🤷🏽♂️
What shoes are those?
They look clean
I know how to flick it but I just can’t land it
make sure to stand sideways and jump
Similar to what that guy said^ make sure your back foot has popped the board and jumped before even flicking the board and be on your toes
what plus bruh
Tips=fake you can't slide on grip in like 0.2 seconds and by then u fell off ur board ran away and ur shin is broken and ur knees are grased
Tbh…. I don’t even know how to pop the board 💀
I hate kickflips so much
Yo jones that kick flip was smoove asf
Good tips keep up the good vids🙌🏽🫱🏾🫲🏽
Will do!
