  • The University of Arizona's Center for Educational Resources Culture, Language and Literacy (CERCLL) is a Title VI Language Resource Center that provides free resources and professional development opportunities for language teachers. It focuses on incorporating cultural awareness and multiliteracies into language teaching. Some of the resources supported by CERCLL include a project researching linguistic complexity as a marker of proficiency in L2 students studying Arabic, a Persian picture dictionary with accompanying audio files for college students, and Foreigncy.us, a platform used in an Arabic and Hebrew media class that uses authentic media materials for intermediate to advanced level students. The university has several professors with expertise in language teaching, including Chantelle Warner, Tzuker Seltzer, Prof. Mikhaeel, Dr. Lys, Mahmoud Azaz, and Hicham Assaoui. These professors have experience teaching and developing curriculum in Arabic, Hebrew, German, Persian, and other languages.
