Damn, Rae has gotten really good at this game. Though on Paper she's not as good a detective as Toast or Hafu, her gut instinct really should be trusted more often. On the flip side of that people are really too quick to trust Hafu lmao.
I think it's the opposite. Rae has gotten good at finding out the imposter yes, but her ability to convince people seems like it has been going down, which at the end of the day is what wins you the game.
The louder someone talks the less you trust them kinda thing, and she just keep going louder and louder. That vote against edison showed it.

Tbh I think this is less about if Rae's bad at convincing, and it's more about if other people are bad at considering the info she provides. It can go either way though, depending on the round.

The only reason we know the information she provided is true is because we are viewing from hindsight from her perspective.
From other people's viewpoint, all she said could have been false because she's the imposter. (Just like how you think all hafu and toast said can be false as they are the imposter because you have rae's perspective). That's where you have to "convince people you are telling the truth" and your opposition is not, which is what she failed at.

@@Afroslught She defo missed the first one but tbf so did everyone. That was really a clean kill. The only clue was when Edison spotted Hafu came back to medbay indicating she had at some point left. But understandable not to pick up on that. The really good crew play by Rae though was even though she had cleared Hafu for a kill she didn't let that cloud her judgement towards the end when she realised it had to have been Corpse or Hafu. She was the only crew to realise that in time but the others ran out of time to follow. Also helped that Toast realised Rae had figured it out and immediately went to pour water on it.

Rae is probably one of the best crew members out of this group. Toast is like super smart, but he never properly explains his logic, people just trust him a lot. With him I feel like it's more him analyzing the person rather than the information. Rae is FULL ON LOGIC mode. She takes the info people give and susses out from that. If you are a good liar then you can fool her is her downside I think. If you tell the truth thinking it's not particularly sus, she will catch onto that and latch onto it for the rest of the game. Basically to beat Rae you have to be isolated to an extent so you can lie, but you can't be too isolated because she will sus that too eventually when the numbers dwindle. You basically have to either win early or kill her before the final 5 or so.

@Cameron Belanger they don't bully but they usually are able to control who gets voted out with weak arguments simply because of who they are. What rae said made sense however hafu and toast talked as if her argument made no sense. Hafu said corpse was the imposter so it made zero sense for it to he Edison from that kill by her logic however toast and hafu pushed for Edison even though corpse was the one who implied it could be edison
@Cameron Belanger well the thing is rae misplayed by putting corpse and hafu as a pair. Corpse only said its a possible self report but they took it as a hard accusation and they didn't let corpse talk too much after. The 50/50 was between corpse and hafu. Edison was clear by rae bc of his movement. He had no reason to report when lights were out and hafu even said Edison was clear for her as well bc she assumed it was her or corpse for 50/50. Rae should never had paired corpse and hafu bc toast used that fake pairing to make rae and Edison a pair.
@@diosnika9218 I don't know what video you were watching but Hafu never cleared Edison. When Corpse said that the kill was very recent that it could have been a self report, she used that and said that she left comms early and to her it was either Corpse or Edison who did the kill. Hafu also acted crew by providing info of her being there when Corpse didn't even noticed her. It also didn't help that when Corpse suggested the idea that it could have been a self report, Rae and Edison both got defensive and asked why Corpse is more sussed of Edison more than Hafu and Toast was able to used that to picture them as a pair. So based on all of that, they were able to convince the other crewmates that it is safer to vote Edison since they voted Corpse out. This was just really unfortunate and was a good kill by Hafu.

It happened to toast a lot too. More I would say than to rae. Rae's accusations usually aren't convicing enough because it based on a gut feeling like she sussed out impostor because of their movements. Which ofc is hard to believe for other crews. In that hafu-toast imp game tho, it's just because toast was very cleared compare to corpse, hafu, edison, and rae. When he brought the possibility of another pair which was edison-rae, to break up the pair it was logical for other crews to voted edison as another pair other than corpse-hafu. I mean what did you expect, rae vs 2 s-tier players - hafu and toast, plus the fact that toast was pretty cleared and didn't defend hafu right away, corpse defended hafu, rae defended ediosn hard on 6, and rae paired corpse-hafu together.
It happened to toast a lot too because people just too scared of being big. They didn't believe his accusations because 'it could be his big brain plan'. Worse, a lot of times, not only they didn't entertain with his call, they voted him out when he sussed 1 or 2 impostors because that big brain bias.

Well, she wasn't right. She voted out Corpse because of him defending hafu, but later on she was defending Edison like a lion lol, she was doing the same thing. Also, they didn't say not to vote, they said to vote Edison so both Corpse and him are out of the picture. I just don't think she was right here, she was defending Edison so much that I was suspicious of her even tho I saw who's the impostor lol.

2-year late reply: I thought it was ShowThyme and Smajor before Toast did. Remember when Rae said she saw electrical vent pop from Medbay where she was hiding with Toast, it did not make sense for that to be Lauren and Chad. Also, Smajor was directing a lot of sus on the two and that made me feel weird... I def would have pushed it on him, but gloom was pretty clever on those first two kills. I knew Toast sussed her, but I just did not understand why. Once Chad reported and explained he saw gloom running from the body, I believed him. Still, would have probably voted Smajor out first, and then gloom second.
RAExTOAST DUO is so underrated. The TITLE is on POINT. Their synergy is so strong as impostors and as crewmates. Plus if you watch their streams. They compliment each other like RAE/TOAST has to die first cause they know each other's play as impostors, or something like ... Rae/Toast died first often, imma protect and give him/her yt video. etc. LOVE THEIR FRIENDSHIP :')
