Been to Deosai, the "Rooftop of the World,". Gosh, it was a fantastic experience. Even though we visited in July, the freezing cold weather persisted, which added to the unique appeal of the location. The sight of mountains capped with snow, the stunning landscape, and the presence of various water bodies, including the captivating Sheosar Lake, truly left me amazed.
I am really surprised to see this side of pakistan. Its really awesome. Bangladesh is green and i though pakistan dont have much green like last few videos , but i was wrong . Thanks abrar bhai .
Deosai is a name of old sanskrut language which means "Shelter from the God". Deosai is at altitude of 4360 mtr means 13500 feet approx., it's truly very high so no trees are found here. Only grass meadows are seen everywhere. Lovely place. In our side in India, Holy Amarnath ji cave is at 14300 feet height where millions of devotees come on foot every year in July-Aug. to see huge ice-shivlinga in the cave and they perform pooja there. We see similar long green meadows there also as devotees' tent city is made there for these two months. Also, many areas in Kargil and Drass region are too like this where you see all snow covered hills and grass meadows and lakes because they're also approx. 13000 feet. The only difference is that our BRO has made good roads all over, so you don't feel much tired and as you reach near Leh, height is increased up to 15000 feet. Yes Dear Abrar ji..... Leh is at 15300 feet., a fully functional city with beautiful markets, wide roads, traffic lights (and traffic police who make your challan very smartly if you do any wrong move, ha ha) lake, brooks, gardens, palaces, Monasteries and lovely people of course. ... Then there is also Khardung La pass which is 18380 feet high. World's highest road highway which is all weather open only road in world. I have driven on that road too. I'd suggest you to travel there in a 4x4 Mahindra Thar Jeep which is easily available at any car rental shop in Leh (there r many). Hope you visit India soon again.... meanwhile you please watch travel blogs of "Extreme Moto Adventures" as they have made vlogs of all this area on bike.
1. Dear you are right such type meadows are there but not of this size it's more than 50 km in length at 14000 feet . Its largest plains at such a altitude. 2ndly we do have FWO frontier works org ) like bro (border road org). But this is declared national park and construction of roads is banned to save this national park. Bridges are made on big nalluahs rest is left as raw deliberately. That's the reason still its neat & clean . 3rdly there is an alternative carpeted road to skardu along indus river. 2 you might have seen the best 4x4 vehicles in video those are toyota 4x4 land cruisers v 6 or v8. Mahindra is just nothing under power 4x4 3. Ask bro to complete Shinkula pass gonboRanjan padum zanskar sarsi la nyamaro road first 3.

Despite hard conditions of the road the filming shows the genuine experience and spectacular landscapes, especially near the end travelling through where the river was running where time has barely changed. Wonderful filming.

That is a very powerful opening of a video. No words to put into context the sheer size of the massive mountain ranges, but what's amazing is, capturing the long road and partial portion of the lake, including the towering summit of the mountains that looked like reaching the sky dusted with white powder. Aerial view is really stunning and amazing - takes my breath away. Watching the video, made me feel like I am a speckle of dust in the universe. The landscape reminds me of Montana. So impressed with Ali, he's like a daredevil maneuvering his motorbike.

It was a very hard drive on the Deosai off-road pathway. When the bike's clutch cable was given up, your engineers Ali and Yasi Bhais managed to fix it well enough to reach the Skardu. What was really interesting was, the people were on the road to enjoy their vacation by riding too far to reach Deosai and Skardu. Many thanks to all who were on this video while you passed them on your way to Skardu. Thank you for your tireless efforts to show us the beauty of Pakistan's faraway highest peaks and terrains. Did camping at bara pani deosai in 2018 October just before the closure, will never forget the skyview before dawn. It was extremely cold, some people on that trip had panic attack due to lack of oxygen on that altitude and some were crying in pain due to snow blindness( they were locals who were walking from astore side), wild life was also active around our camp at bara pani, saw the tracks all around our camp. Vastness of deosai is magical, one also feels a bit of natural hostility of environment there, due to height and cold.
Its good we have very bad roads, agar road thori b achi huti tu hum nay deosai ki hi bht buri halat kar deni thi aur sath main wild life ki. Allah hum sub ko hadayet day ameen .
beautiful landscapes have tolls other than money and the toll is worth every penny for this landscape always loved high altitude plains they infatuate me hope to visit this place soon.

Did camping at bara pani deosai in 2018 October just before the closure, will never forget the skyview before dawn. It was extremely cold, some people on that trip had panic attack due to lack of oxygen on that altitude and some were crying in pain due to snow blindness( they were locals who were walking from astore side), wild life was also active around our camp at bara pani, saw the tracks all around our camp. Vastness of deosai is magical, one also feels a bit of natural hostility of environment there, due to height and cold.

Its good we have very bad roads, agar road thori b achi huti tu hum nay deosai ki hi bht buri halat kar deni thi aur sath main wild life ki. Allah hum sub ko hadayet day ameen .
