Raag Darbari has a rich history. It has been created by *Miya Tansen* - one of ruler Akbar's nine _Navaratnas._ This raag is mellifluous that it soothes the mind. The essence of this raag penetrates deep inside the mind and body, and provides pause and calmness after the day's stress. In fact that was the reason behind the creation of this raag by *Miya Tansen* for Emperor Akbar. Ustad Rafaqat Ali Khan has beautifully executed the raag.
