Love your reaction, especially when you said that you were speechless. I think that describes most people when watching Michael Jackson! I would just like to chime in and and comment on your remarks about his appearance change. Michael Jackson had a skin disorder called vitiligo, which is a genetic disorder that results in the loss of pigmentation of the skin. He could not control this unfortunately. He also had discoid lupus which can impact the skin in various ways. The Pepsi commercial incident where his head caught on fire also led him to need reconstructive surgeries and left him permanently bald in some spots. Michael claimed he only had two major nose surgeries (but he may have had touch-ups). Aging definitely had a role in it as well. I'm sure he had some minor tweakings here and there, but it wasn't as extensive as it's made out to be. Michael was a phenomenal talent and human being. He is greatly missed! Love him always.
The only thing he changed was his nose and he actually changed it for the first time in the 70s when he turned 18. The other thing that changed was his skin color and he did not change that, it was the result of an illness called vitiligo that he couldn't help
Facts! He only did minor surgery nothing major like the media said smh plus it was mainly just Vitiligo which he had no control over,Lupus and a few nose jobs that’s about it Long Live The King Of Music MJ🙌🏽👑❤️💕💫
He had lupus as well that destroys your skin in some ways. He has had less surgery then people thought he had. Weight loss, lupus, viltigo, age, the pepsi commercial accident, his dad calling him ugly and targeting his nose ( when he was a literal child that wasn't even 13 yet ), and stress ( because let's face it, he was barely happy in his life ) can cause a huge change. Hell, since he was physically abused by his dad that could've caused some changes in his face and body IF it was that bad. Every little change doesn't have to be “surgery". People seem to forget that he lost weight constantly, during shows he would lose weight so they would always have to change the size of his clothing. People also seem to forget that he had lupus, which I believe destroys skin tissues. He got surgery to fix his nose, but surgery is not ideal for lupus patients. So, the older he got, he started to change his nose for repairment I believe, due to the lupus.
When they did Who's Loving You it was from 1970 on The Ed Sullivan Show. Dancing was from 1974 and in 1975 they left Motown after Seven Years and got slapped with a 20 Million Dollar Lawsuit for not completing the terms and legalities of their Contract. They settled in 1981 for 500.000.00. Enjoy Yourself was written by Kenny Gamble/Leon Huff who were the hottest R & B Songwriting Team symbolizing the Philly Soul Sound that's synonomous in England. Blame It On The Boogie was also The Audition Song that Will Young did in 1981 who would be the first "Pop Idol" ever. He was very lucky in the sense that he still continued to perform when his Voice Changed. Alot of kids weren't able to.
yeh his skin disorder made it worse so i don't knock him for changing his appearance, since his skin was going to change to pale and white anyway his older sister latoya looks like she has it at times to and she got the disease before michael she was whiter than him in the 80s.his grandfather had it too on his dads side.
With the thing about the change in appearance he only got 2 surgeries both on his nose 1 to get it changed and over time it may seem that he's getting a lot of surgery on it but it's just swelling and the swelling can last for 2 years and then he got another surgery on his nose to prevent it from caving in and to clear it so he could hit higher notes. He also had a skin condition called vitiligo which he covered up with makeup. People say he got surgery on his chin lips and cheek bones but it's not true and he has confirmed it himself he's only had 2 on his nose if his face looks like it changed more it's because he's a normal human that ages and goes through adolescences and his face squared out more and stuff.
It'sjustEvi okay I didn't know that, but yeah peoples faces change over the years, and I think people thought he changed more because of his skin, I just think it's sad that people are so quick to judge when you don't know. He was an amazing singer 👍🏼
He had up to three nose surgery actually. Mid 70s, late 80s (before bad) and again in the early 20s. and he did had surgery on his chin around the mid 80s
