Would Bivol beat the Gvosdyk that Beterbiev defeated ? Callum Smith ? Marcus Brown ? Anthony Yarde ?
I think at least one or two of those fighters defeats Bivol.
Bivol couldn't stop Canelo and he isn't a knock out type fighter. Beterbiev is a destroyer and doesn't stop for 12 rounds.
Beterbiev is in a league of his own. His training is unmatched. His experience, will, skill and power are unmatched. He will walk Bivol down.
Bivol defeats Canelo who beat and outboxed Callum Smith. Bivol beats up Jean Pascal who beats Marcus Browne by stoppage. Anthony Yarde lost to washed Sergey Kovalev whose career ended by Canelo the guy Bivol schooled for whole 12 rounds. The only thing debatable is Gvozdyk who is like Bivol in his prime days but more power and had a guts to trade back to back punches unlike Bivol who relied to "In" and "Out" strategy.
With his three belts on the line, and a fourth to win, I just can't see Beterbiev allowing himself to lose. Also I wonder if wife beater Bivol has the same resolve to win.
Gvozdyk was far better than Bivol is. Bivol has yet to beat a single live champion or a real 175 fighter while he’s doing good. There’s levels to this, Bivol lost rounds against smith jr and got severely hurt while Beterbiev destroyed him in 2 rounds
@@luishenrycamacho3159 That was at 168 so not really an accurate or fair comparison. I think a 175lb Callum Smith performs much better against Canelo. Jean Pascal was loaded to the gills on roids and that's a fact so i don't see that as a fair comparison either. Anthony Yarde lost to Kovalev and then had at least two more fights to improve his stamina and gamesmanship. He doesn't have a lot of experience to begin with but having that little bit extra experience by the time he fought Beterbiev certainly helped. Not only that but he fought Kovalev IN RUSSIA. He fought Beterbiev IN ENGLAND. That's why i'm saying the Callum Smith, Marcus Brown, Anthony Yarde and Gvosdyk that Beterbiev fought. Looked to me like Gvosdyk threw the fight against Benavidez. Most of the comments i've seen on that fight agree with that sentiment.

Artur Beterviev even though he's nearly 40's, doesn't drink liquor nor smoking. He maintain his body strong because of self discipline. Bivol will be stop at early rounds by KO.

I really think if Callum Johnson used better strategy he would have had the best chance to beat Betterbiev. I felt like Callum was just hunting to kill him while Arthur was using other methods besides just relying on power.
Usual YT deceiving headline with a "quote" which I actually first heard from Eddie Hearn. Eg "not human". Still I love the acknowledgement by Johnson of Artur's ring skills - luring opponents into the corner as if weakening. Then, beating them up with short range power. Bivol will not be as easily lured, but Joe Smith had Bivol on wobble against the ropes, and was only saved by the bell.
Honest mistake, changing title now.
Nice to know the only time they can point to Bivol’s chin is when he got hit by Joe Smith Jr. with his right hand on the temple at the end of a round..(close to after the bell) and he didn’t go down or through the ropes like Hopkins..in fact he fought the rest of the fight and had Joe on shaky legs at the end. AB was dropped with a Johnson left hook..(Callum fights orthodox) and continued on until the KO. Smith is known as possessing KO power…Johnson is also a power puncher but never got that right hand on AB’s chin and is nowhere near the skill level of Bivol…I tend to lean towards a 60-40 split with Bivol rather than 50-50.
Thanks for bringing that up. Artur's two knockdown gets so much publicity and everyone forgets about Bivol saved by the bell. He would have been brutally hurt if not for the end of the round.
Where as Artur's first knockdown was more of trip fall and on the second knockdown, neither his knees nor his butt touched the ground. Artur took support of the hand and got up immediately.

He was dropped and almost sent outside the ring. Oh, come on! Stop making an excuse. Once you get the referee to count on you after being hit by your opponent, that's considered a knockdown otherwise there would be no counting at all. Bivol was once hurt but has never really hit the canvas.

That was a legit knockdown. His knees got folded and his head and upper body only relied on the ropes to avoid falling down from the ring. If he had a strong chin, he would have just gotten rocked or shaken standing up but never folded, dropped or hit the canvas with whatever part of his body.
Keep fantasizing that Beterbiev never received a knockdown count after the Johnson blow like your mental health depends on it. Lol
