The Griffin cartoon is so adorable :3
I actually miss this kind of animation.Wish today's animations on TV was like it was in the 80s.

I remember Griffin, but I don't think I ever knew he was voiced by Richard Briers.
He sounds like George off “Rainbow”!
It's not though. It;s Richard Briers - probably best known as Tom Good in _The Good Life_
Shame that Midland became HSBC it was better as Midland much better service.
Unfortunate that years of mismanagement meant either get swallowed up by HSBC or go out of business
It was a shambles. Midland was close to collapse and had to be rescued by the Bank of England in 1991. It was in such a state that it more or less had to be out up for sale. HSBC bought it, after Lloyds Bank also tried to buy it but were blocked.
