This is an INCREDIBLE video - very well done! How it doesn't have more views is beyond me. Nobody ever talks about this! Thank you for putting this together 👍
Great video! My uncle was Mark Graves. He left Sox & Martin and moved to Charlotte to build engines there. Had a bad experience with Jim Stacey, worked at stevollis for a minute but landed at the Pond with that small metal shop on the hill. Hendrick bought the team... Harry Hyde. Randy Dorton, Tommy Johnson, Dennis Greene(aka Hotdog), and my uncle Mark Graves were hired ,,, and the first 5 employees that worked for Hendick Motorsports. In 84 Hendrick was prepared to shut the doors due to sponsorship,, but gave bodine one more chance. He passed Bobby Allison in Martinsville, won his first race for him & Hendrick motorsports. Levi Garrett & others came on board & the rest is history ❤.. Tim came along around 85 or 86... TG Shepherd was on the roof with Folgers. Earls hoses & fittings etc.. I was around 15 yrs old then.. But everyone that chewed tobacco in my family switched to Levi Garrett cause it was free😂😂😂... Iodine was a typical dick from upstate, but Tim was as cool a dude as anyone could ever meet! Would never known he was from up north.. but there's a truth to be told nobody knows about Tim Richmond..🧨... if he'd lived: Earnhardt would've never won 7 championships💪💪💪
This is a fantastic video… and simultaneously confirms my greatest fears about taking my channel seriously and launching my new series… all that work you poured into this, and the great final product that resulted… only to land you less than 2000 views in a year and not even 20 subscribers. Like, what the heck, TH-cam really pi$$es me off sometimes. For what it’s worth, I liked the video, subbed and will be checking out your other content.
I was there on that foggy day back in 1986. My first cup race. With the fog, Rudd came out of nowhere from our perspective because he was nowhere near #5 and #25 when they took the white flag.

Awesome,,, I use to spend my summer at the shop when I was 14 ,15, & 16....
One of the most underrated races ever
Well done video

Correction: Richmond also won the '83 Like Cola 500, so his win total at Pocono is four, not the stated three.
Keep making videos
This is why I'm a big fan of Ty Gibbs carrying on the tradition of driving while HIV positive. God bless.
Man, he was a dude. It's awful everybody couldn't be out in the open about what was going on. He could've run another season. Freaking politics.
