      She brings the creativity of a fs big heel and they give such a low score…. None of the other girls are doing that wtf.
      You know for sure if Chloe was the first to suddenly do a big heel in competition they’d be hyping it so much and give 80s minimum

    42:48 yoooo Yumeka is actually the tech queen right now!!! Kickflip front board and kickflip feeble back to back!!!
    I used to think Momiji is leading the future but Yumeka is killing it WST Tokyo, Dubai and this showing!
    All she needs is like two more big tech tricks like that and maybe do some gap switch tricks like switch flips down the stairs and she’s unbeatable.

    yumeka should have big spin front board on the rubba where oda scored 8.0 the coach should have said that to yumeka

    • @dr_zaius

      yeah why would she try a kickflip for a 7.1 when chloe's switch flip only got 7.4? Maybe she didn't fully understand the situation, otherwise it seems like she intentionally didn't try to win

    • @talk-supersix-seven6021

      @@dr_zaiusshe’s been robbed so many times that she decided to lowball it so they couldn’t rob her.
      Japan has a face saving culture, maybe she didn’t want to face funa like situation where she should have won on a noseblunt but they underscored her massively and she lost.
      Yumeka was just like screw it im just going to do a kickflip at least they can’t rob me.

    Yumeka was out for blood! Would love to see more of her for sure. Momiji w the 9.2 was just incredible. Overall, love the intensity the girls are skating at… it’s thrilling to watch 🔥

  • @talk-supersix-seven6021

    54:13 you see how much more rigid WST judging is to SLS
    YUMEKA got 8.5 for her crook nollie flip here.
    Whereas in WST Tokyo they gave her I think 70 because they are so overly rigid with scoring based on obstacle size
    So you will never see flip in flip out on a small ledge or Hubba in the Olympics because of the scoring.
    In WST qualifiers or Olympics you can get 80 minimum for doing a smith or feeble on the biggest rail.
    But a kickflip tail slide on a small ledge will get you less than that.
    Certainly something like a flip in flip out will not even get 90 tbh if it’s on a ledge at WST so you’ll never see it

    I noticed the level on this competition was way lower than the level these same girls had at the WST Dubai a few weeks after. Are we seeing SLS lose prestige compared to the olympic stuff? The women were clearly saving their strength here.

    • @minusmett7882

      Ask them which park setup was better to skate.
      They're different each time.
      Take a look at 31:47
      It's really not that comfortable and doesn't offer that much compared to others

    • @minusmett7882

      If you stop at the time given take a look at the small wall with the cooping.
      No one even tried to get the speed coming from the other side and including this in their line.
      And I also have the mens lines in mind.
      I get what you mean but I am sure they gave it their best.

    • @Mephistobr

      @@minusmett7882 There's the fact they have less practice on the SLS courses and usually have like 3 days of practice in the olympic events prior to quarter finals, then more for semis and finals. It's just that it's a bit harder to watch when you know they can do much better. Maybe SLS should do at least 2 days competition and not cram everything on a single day.

    • @minusmett7882

      Maybe because she’s shy and quiet perfectionist she doesn’t have the energy bravado and confidence of Rayssa or Chloe so they are rigging it against her.
      I really think sls has done rigging in the past.
      Like when funa did the nose blunt slide on a big obstacle and they scored it so low with the excuse she had a sketchy landing (she was just bending for balance a bit) whereas I’ve seen Chloe be sketchy as hell and still get 8.5+
