The shelves painted in that pretty green looks so fresh, that color is so popular right now and I can see why! it is really nice to see it in your home and all the paint color choices work extremely well together imho. I like the way you styled the shelves, I'm like you in that I tend to decorate for a season rather than going all out unless it's Christmas. I like those cute tulips in the ceramic jar/pot, especially. Your recipes look fantastic and perfect for Spring. I can't wait to try them. A Cricut machine would be amazing, I wanted one for Christmas but the budget was a little tight!
The color choices in your home make it look so fresh! Love the live plants you've chosen. You have great talent for putting colors and textures together. The shelving decor is gorgeous. Lastly, I think painting the kitchen island the same green color as the built-in shelving would look stunning.
There is nothing like a fresh paint job. It just makes the home feel like yours. I moved into a new home about a year and half ago and the paint was so drab. Once I had it painted, the home started feeling more like my home. Made my heart happy. I just got a Cricut at the first of the year and am busy trying to learn how to have more successes than failures. I'd love to see more how you use yours.

My husband started work full time in a ministry working with the homeless in 2020 and we took over a 50% cut in our income to follow God's plans, so have to be more frugal with our purchases than we have in the past. I’m always telling my boyfriend about what I would want in my future home, including Cricut crafts! My sweet boyfriend got me a Cricut joy for Christmas, but I still haven’t used it once. Omgoodness I too love the satisfying feeling of hand washing dishes!😀I wash my sink out after I wash dishes! I have a dishwasher, but I prefer hand washing them. I want to start adding scented oil last to my disposal! I usually just do vinegar and baking soda over night, and add boiling water the next morning.

Green is my favorite color, LOVE the green in the living room. Decorating is a process for me as well because I tend to be very choosy an specific with the pieces I use. I am constantly moving and changing things up until I get it just right and my family says its like a treasure hunt to see where mom has moved something lol. I think a wood edge might be OK. But the lights in the alcoves won't travel through the wood.

Green is my favorite color, LOVE the green in the living room. Decorating is a process for me as well because I tend to be very choosy an specific with the pieces I use. I am constantly moving and changing things up until I get it just right and my family says its like a treasure hunt to see where mom has moved something lol.
