Conor's live vocals a tiny bit rougher around the edges compared to the records due to the vulnerability of the moment. But that makes him feel so real and adds complex feels to his talent. What I love most about Conor's voice and stage presence is that he always manages to distill the band's "been to hell and back to create this music" history into the experience of a 3-minute song. And that emotional zone happens to be where millions of us fans are at in our own real lives. That is a very special gift that not just anyone has--you can't just learn it from a vocal coach or by copying other singers.
