great video, a quick questions for you on the video mode options. The iSteady v3 has timelapse and panorama modes but its not clear what the max video resolution is available for iphones. According to Hohem's iSteady v3 manual it seems like the max video resolution for iPhone is 1080p60, 4k60, max timelapse resolution is 4k30, max slow motion resolution is 720 8x, and max resolution for dynamic zoom is 1080p30. Wondering if you can touch on these aspects and if this is correct? When comparing it to the Flow Pro with dockkit integration, it seems according to the Flow Pro's documentation that the max video resolution of the gimbal modes is more: The max timelapse resolution is 4k,60fps, max slow motion is 1080p 240fps, and max dolly zoom is 4k,60fps which are all better than Hohem's iSteady v3 except the hyperlapse/timeshift seems like its max is 4k30 same as Hohem. If all of this is true, it seems like if one has an iPhone its likely better to go with the Flow Pro gimbal because of the max video resolution supported for the various video modes which give the max video resolution for the iphone. Yep, the deploy speed for this is one of my favorite features! Some times we're whipping these things out to use as quickly as possible, the faster they can be used the better!
Great review - really enjoyed your straight forward delivery without the 'hype' we often see elsewhere. A couple of questions for you :) I have a large hand size - how comfortable is the V3 to hold - is the handle long enough. I was initially looking at the Insta 360 Flow Pro but the short handle size made it an impractical choice for me. Can the V3 do full 360 degree tracking - some other models can do continuous rotations. What are the tilt-up and tilt-down angles like - I've seen that the Insta 360 and the DJI Osmo V6 are limited in that area. Thanks again for a great review - I am now subscribed :)
So the Tripod is my Manbily Tripod and I use it daily for everything lol! amzn.to/4cNOWOQ it's currently only $60 on Amazon! It was $120 when they first sent it out to me! I also use a Ulanzi Quick Release, the older version because I have like 8 of them across different mounting points in my office and top down setup. amzn.to/3XgrYue They have newer ones, but I started with these so if I change I'll have to buy them all over again. Great video as always pal. I have been looking for a mobile Gymbal but in my search for one I am torn between a mobile one for my Samsungg 24+ or maybe getting the DJI osmo pocket 3. But after your review I am.swaying towards the mobile gymbal and then maybe get the osmo pocked 3 as an addition later. I love the fact that it auto levels when powering on. I have another gimble that doesn't which makes it terrible to set up
