धेरै निन्द्रा लाग्नुको वैज्ञानिक तथा चिकित्सकीय कारणहरूमा निम्न समावेश हुन सक्छन्:
निन्द्रा सम्बन्धी विकार (Sleep Disorders):
नार्कोलेप्सी (Narcolepsy): यो निन्द्रा सम्बन्धी विकार हो जसमा मानिसलाई अत्यधिक निद्रा लाग्छ।
स्लीप एपनिया (Sleep Apnea): सुत्दा सास फेर्न असजिलो हुने विकार जसले शरीरमा अक्सिजनको कमी गराउँछ र निद्रा पूर्ण रूपमा पूरा हुन सक्दैन।
अवसाद (Depression): मानसिक स्वास्थ्य समस्याहरू जस्तै अवसादले अत्यधिक निद्रा ल्याउन सक्छ।
आहार र जीवनशैली (Diet and Lifestyle):
अनुचित आहार: बढी कार्बोहाइड्रेट र चिनी युक्त आहारले अत्यधिक निद्रा निम्त्याउन सक्छ।
शारीरिक गतिविधि को कमी: शारीरिक गतिविधि कम हुनुले पनि निन्द्रा बढी लाग्न सक्छ।
औषधि (Medications): केही औषधिहरूले निद्रा लाग्न सक्छ, जस्तै एन्टीहिस्टामिन्स, एण्टीडिप्रेसेन्ट्स आदि।
चिकित्सकीय अवस्थाहरू (Medical Conditions):
थाइरोइड समस्या: हाइपोथाइरोइडिज्मले थकान र बढी निद्रा ल्याउन सक्छ।
दक्षिणलार्भिक अनिद्रा (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome): यो अवस्थाले पनि मानिसलाई सधैं थकान महसुस गराउँछ।
आनुवंशिक कारण (Genetic Factors): केही व्यक्तिहरूमा आनुवंशिक कारणले पनि अत्यधिक निद्रा लाग्न सक्छ।
यी कारणहरूअत्यधिक निद्राको पछाडि वैज्ञानिक तथा चिकित्सकीय आधारहरू हुन्। यदि तपाईँलाई यस्तो समस्या छ भने चिकित्सकसँग परामर्श गर्नु उचित हुन्छ।
