- We finally finished the 1 acre lot for my family for one of them to start there new homeplace! we had both machines working hard in the heat and dust. We got the fire hot enough to burn the green trees! We got everything pushed in a pile burned and leveled. Loaded up and headed home!!
I am consistently impressed by your finish level when I watch your videos.
Personally, I think it's because you are not just shoving the head into a pile and stalling it, then backing up, getting back to speed, and shoving it back in again.
I listen closely, and your cutting head seems to stay at a very consistent speed. This tells me that, like a good carpenter, you are letting the cutting tool do the work instead of forcing it through. It seems counterintuitive to some, but for me, it makes perfect sense that doing one good clean pass means fewer trips to back drag and then grind again.
While it may seem to some to be slower, I believe this is a very efficient way to work and ultimately means a faster and more attractive finish.
Or --- I could be entirely wrong 😆-- But I don't think so --

You NAILED it on the head not many pay attention to everything i do but everyone just goes gung hoe and i don't just ram and go i take my time to let machine do all the work but easily like. If your just hurrying it puts alot of wear on the machine and really just looking to break the machine. This is my second time using the grapple which it takes useing it to get to really know how to use it. Mulching i just get close to the ground that way it cuts it close tot the ground so i dont have stobs jabbing the tracks which mean less track life. if you bog machine all day and jab the mulcher in the ground its eating dirt and it will eventually puts lots of strain on the machine and mulcher wears it out.

I would use my brush hog on this light stuff.
Yeah but my tractor isnt the best or easy to use id rather eat time and usage on my machine. People dont think about the travel and time you put in to move machines and also calculate every little thing you do into the price to make something out of it.
