    Hi Arno. Thanks for some nice and informative videos for beginnners. Trying to heal a very sore tendon I would like to know if my understanding of the programmes of the SP 4.0 is correct: 1) Pain management "only" decreases the pain by blocking the pain signals to the brain? 2) So first step of actually treating the damaged tendon is the rehab program? When to choose atrophy and when to chose reinforcement? 3) But first step of actually healing and improving the damage only comes when starting to use the conditioning/strength programmes? Thanks in advance for your reply. It would be good with a video about it.

      Hi Jorn, thanks for your reply. I also received your email. Your question(s) needs a more detailed explanation, so I will give that explanation by email.

    Hi, thanks for the content, I am using Compex Coach app besides to a wire compex, so to improve the core stability is suggests pad placements, just wondering if I can do all at the same time or each muscular group individually.

      Hi Lucas, for core stability you can all do at the same time! It's also to be recommended. Good luck!

    How does one charge the Compex Sport Elite 2? The charging cord does not fit into the socket, as shown at 2:37.

    • @CompexAcademy
      @CompexAcademy  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Normally it must fit. Be aware that you cannot put the charger cable in the socket when the stimulation cables are in the device (9:50). The charger socket is than locked. That's a safety, so you cannot charge and stimulate at the same time.

    • @MikeIdy6000
      @MikeIdy6000 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@CompexAcademy I know that. Trying to insert the charger into the unit is like trying to fit a round peg into a square hole. What do you mean by "than locked"?

    • @CompexAcademy
      @CompexAcademy  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MikeIdy6000 In that first square hole, you'll find a curved notch, where the charger fits in perfectly. It's also described in the manual page 31: www.compex.com/media/legacy/mediamanager/compex-sport-elite-2-0-tens-muscle-stimulator-user-manual.pdf If it's not working in your device, I recommend to contact Compex US, to determine what the exact issue is.

    Should your legs be straight or bent when doing a recovery session on your quads? I can set a higher intensity when my leg is straight. Does it make a difference in the end: lower intensity/bent leg higher intensity/straight leg? Thanks.

    • @CompexAcademy
      @CompexAcademy  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Kevin, for recovery the muscle must be (max) shortened. Than it's in the most relaxed state. So, for recovery for Quads, the legs must be straight, because than the quads are shortened and most relaxed and more capable of a higher intensity, which feels more comfortable. The higher the intensity, the deeper you go into tissue, the more muscle fibers are active, therefore you have a better recovery. For training programs, you just want to avoid that maximum shortened position of the muscle. Otherwise the contraction feels like cramp. So remember: Recovery - max shortened muscle. Training - Not max shortened / (a bit of) length on the muscle.

    How to connect mi sensor with other cables?
    Do we need to use all colour cables
    What’s function of each colour cables

    • @CompexAcademy
      @CompexAcademy  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Kevin, all cables are the same, except the Mi-sensor has a sensor. The colors correspond to the buttons on the device, so it's easier to see which cable is connected to each button and therefore you know which channel will increase when you increase intensity by using a specific button. All cables work in all plugins. So, red cable also works on yellow button plugin. The Mi sensor can also be plugged in everywhere. The Mi-sensor is extra, so it replaces 1 of the colored cable when and where you need it.

    The company didn't have the customer in mind when it comes to charging the device. It's extremely frustrating and I hope I can return the product.

    • @CompexAcademy
      @CompexAcademy  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, I'm sorry to hear that the charging is frustrating you. The charging is a compromise between customer use and safety. Safety part: No charging and stimulating at the same time, because we don't take risks that something happens while charging in 220/110V.
      The charging is not optimal, but it's "plug and play". Note: don't try to charge with the stimulation cables in the machine, the charger port will be blocked. I think that in this video the charging is explained (1min26) and is not that difficult, but every personal situation could be different.
      If you want to know if you can return the product, you need to go back to where you have bought the Compex. Unfortunately I cannot determine if you can send it back yes / no.
