A decent cheap impact, it does a good job. Like you say it's good for watering the lawn, or for parts.

Nice plastic impact! it runs good on your hose. I might have a few of these but not this style. I have a orbit satellite head, (basically a cheap maxi paw knockoff) made for going on a regular lawn sprinkler. I think thats about the cheapest i have rn, unless you factor in the zinc sprinklers i have.

This sprinkler is one of the cheapest I could find and the quality of the build is crude at best. With a magnifying glass you would see just how badly it compares to a recognized brand. You mentioned the maxi-paw, and the Orbit comparable model, are literally identical in appearance, design, and function. It surprised me when I put them side by side.

I can imagine there are several things that could be a possibility. I would start with making sure I have enough pressure. Then I would make sure there is nothing in the nozzle or that it is clear. I would make sure the spring between the body and the sleeve is not broken. If stops at one of the stops I would consider reversing the stops around to the other side so that the one on the right becomes the one on the left. Are you able to turn the sprinkler freely with your hand? If not take the sprinkler off the base and remove the journal tube and sleeve to clean it with water and fine wet sand paper if necessary . The last thing is check to see if the arm spring is too tight. Let me know if you still have a problem.
