I have been using the black soybean pasta from Amazon and found it very palatable. I look forward to now trying Immi. Thank you. I've lost over 100 pounds in a year and you ladies have definitely helped me do so.
Many of us only count Total carbs (vs net carbs) It would be wonderful if you could say what both the total and net carbs are. I love your channel and recipes - thank you!
I am a first time poster but have been watching and making your recipes for years. I made this tonight. I found the noodles at our local health food store. Used two packs doubling the recipe. I added garlic and ginger and it was amazing!! I also had to find a fix for oyster sauce and in my search I found out they make a vegan one. The dish is delicious. It filled the void for noodles and for Asian food! It was worth the 6.50 dollars. Thank you for doing what you do. It helps keep me motivated and focused. ❤
If you look at the noodles while they're still dry, you will see that they are large loops of noodles that have been folded in half. If you spread them apart and break them (sometimes slipping a butter knife between helps), you will get all the noodles neatly broken right in half. The whole noodles are great for the slurpy soups, but for something like Chow Mein or Lo Mein. shorter noodles make eating a LOT easier. Already ordered mine - can't wait to make some SERIOUSLY loaded keto Lo Mein!! Great Vid, Thank You!!
I LOVE immi! I have had a lot of fun "playing" with different keto varieties of various Asian dishes. Also...the immi broth packet is SOOOO FLAVORFUL and not at all OVERLY salted like traditional ramen broth packets.
That looks super good! If you want to bump up the Asian flavor, (and bulk up the amount) cut the cabbage into long strips, like noodles, and add about 3 cups. Sauté it with the other vegetables in avocado oil, then and the noodles. Then for the sauce, soy sauce, a t- spoon of grated ginger (or powdered), 2 cloves of chopped garlic (or garlic powder), the oyster sauce, some white pepper, and some sesame oil. Super tasty! Thank you for all your hard work!
@@ketotwinsI saw that. I was mainly talking about cutting them into the long, noodle like strips. When they cook down they almost become like another noodle in the dish, mixed with everything else, along with the other seasonings. Sorry if I seemed to imply anything else.
I already had these in the cupboard because I had bought the variety pack of IMMI a couple of months ago and tried the ramen and wasn’t impressed. So I gave them another try with your recipe and made this for dinner a few nights ago and it was amazing! I added sesame oil and a little brown sugar Swerve for sweetness as well as some pork meat. So Good! I think I’m going to try adding the flavor packets next. Frying the noodles after boiling them makes all the difference! Great job, again, Emily and Sarah!
I ordered their variety pack as well and it's really very good for what it is! I have a local ramen place that substitutes mixed veg for their ramen and I've been using that with the Imi noodles to great success. I honestly am going to try making chow mein right now. If y'all wouldn't mind the extra work Anne at Keto Asian Flavours has a great oyster sauce recipe I make regularly!
@@ketotwins You should try making crab rangoon with tofu skins. Looks like if you fry them they get crispy. Also, they are nice and thin. Sadly, I can't eat tofu but it would be fun to watch.
Thank you guys! After watching your video I decided to give these noodles a try. I've tried all of the other keto noodle/pasta subsititute options and none of them even came close to having the right texture and flavor. I am so happy to say that IMMI has finally hit it. I prepared mine just as you did in the video (including the Maekrua Thai oyster sauce) but also added some precooked chicken, a half tsp of toasted sesame oil, a full tsp of hot chili oil and WOW, so delicious! You were absolutely right about these noodles having the right bite and picking up the flavor of the sauce.. The only downside, as you mentioned, is the cost but for a once in a while thing its worth it. I am excited to try these noodles next week with my home made bolognese sauce. I hope IMMI will expand into producing other pasta variants. Thanks again and keep up the great work that you both have been doing.
I just tried these ramen noodles. I put a stir fry mix and chicken on top. I did like you suggested and dried on a paper towel and pan fried to dry them out a little more. I definitely like them for Chinese dishes. I haven't tried it as the actual ramen soup...or the flavoring it came with yet.
My mother would make her pad see eew with rice noodles, which is fine. Tastes good even though traditionally it's made with the fat noodles. I use ramen noodles for my version, but I don't make it often even though the family loves it cause my husband and I are both diabetic and we have to watch our carb intake. This is a God send. I'm so glad to find this. Thank you for giving me another option for one of my fave childhood dishes I grew up eating. Thank you for sharing. 🥰🥰
You guys really got a winner here. I chopped up a pork chop, stir fried and added it at end. Mine was a little too oily, even though I only used 1 Tbs of olive oil. Next time I’ll try just a half Tbs of sesame oil, and also add some bean sprouts. But this is a great addition to our low carb arsenal. THANKS!
I've been using these noodles for almost a year, but only as a ramen substitute. I will make other noodle dishes when my next shipment arrives. Also, I found a low-carb sweet chili sauce by G. Hughes that you could use to give a bit of sweetness.
@Tes7000 I cannot stand shirtaki noodles, they're like rubberbands. I've tried different brands and multiple preparations and always throw them away - these are nothing like them. They're like a firmer, dryer ramen noodle- they're delicious.
@@Dulnaivi Thanks! I just may order some. One mouthful of shirataki noodles left me traumatized years ago, and I have not wanted to go anywhere near a shirataki noodle since.

I'm surprised y'all weren't up on these I've been making chow mein out of these for a while. I had to cook these much longer than 7 minutes though more like 20 minutes
This is awesome. I have been using Liviva or Zeroodle soy based spaghetti for chow mein but the soy is a bother at times. I boil my noodles in water with 2 tbsp cream, garlic, ginger and some sesame oil to bring out an Asian flavor. Then fry up with onion, cabbage, garlic, ginger and liquid aminos. But if these Immi are made without soy, this could prove to be an option.

This looks really delicious. Living in NYC there are no noodles in the chow mein just veggies, a protein of choice, and a package of dry crispy noodles like lachoy brand.
Yeah no noodles here either and I'm from the West Coast. Typical chow mein is supposed to be crispy noodles, chop suey is with steamed rice, and lo mein is a noodle dish. I tried the Immi noodles a year ago and did Not like the taste at all! There was an awful aftertaste. I also did not care for the flavors from the packets either. I'd much rather eat Miracle (Shirataki) as a Ramen substitute or Palmini noodles as a sub for spaghetti. Still have not found a really good tasting Ramen substitute.
I love you guys. I tried this recipe and it was 🔥😋. You was right it does taste better. I love Panda Express Honey Walnut Shrimp and Chow Mein. Ok. But can you dry them out or deep fry them to make the crispy crunchy noodles you put on top of
choy main??
Just ordered the variety pack of Immi Ramen. Going to give a couple to my mom.
We love them
Ordered a box. Bit steep, but looking forward to trying them this way
Thanks You! I'm diabetic and miss noodles.

I love you guys. I tried this recipe and it was 🔥😋. You was right it does taste better. I love Panda Express Honey Walnut Shrimp and Chow Mein. I want to get the real thing However, this is a low-carb lifestyle. I said I can just make it myself. I'm so glad you had a video for both. Your videos did not disappoint. I made both of your recipes and they both taste better than the real thing to me. Thank you for the content.
