They need to delete current game RNG, the old system RNG, Trans, Elixir, honing, gems etc. Then you can add RNG if you want but the old system has to go.
Players didn't ask them to make the game fair and free-2-play but nobody expected them to dial up the pay-2-win from 2500% up to 4000%.
It's about time people get tired of this.

They really need to remove old systems, they can't just keep adding indefinately... It's insanity.
Honestly they should just merge damage gems and cooldown gems into 1 general type rather than having to deal with swapping. It would make it a lot easier for everyone, the prices of gems would be extremly standardized as it would be either way if selection of the gem type was going to be a thing. If that would break the balance just remove some gem slots instead
Gems should be account wide. How will you change your build and skills if you gotta spend millions of gold and silver for each skill?
Honestly if this becomes a thing then it saves the game for me.

Then the market for gems will crash...and you wont be able to make gold off your extra gems. I dunno about you but I've made millions of gold off of lvl 10 dmg gems...in turn, this will make honing worse...unless they nerf that too

I think the most possible thing about gem, when reroll it the outcome will random to dmg or cd

This is a hard reset not a soft reset lol. Soft reset would just be new gear and new materials etc

If you facet the event gems you can literally select what skill do you want, its not the case with regular gems; my question is why not? If Event gems can do that make regular gems do that too. Less RNG keeps playerbase happy; this game is beyond RNG.

They could also just make cd gems and dmg gems all general (no specific skill) and we can just place them into skills slots that we want to use them on.

At minimum level 10 t3 should be transfered into 8lvl same type cd/dmg, or mby even go further, if its dmg gem u get 33.33% chance of being it the same type as u are putting it into it up from lvl8 gems to 10 t4s.

i dont understand the discussion about new players, who is gonna start lost ark from scratch right now and reach t4 anytime soon? system should be made for players who want to keep playing and if you give "new players (alt accounts)" express events to t4 then yeah i will delete my account and create a few new ones for t4 is faster and more efficient no? -.-
t3 10 level cdr gem in any case will have the same price as dmg

Knowing that they are only going to reduce the gold cost of elixir and transcendence, and not make them fairer and have better animations, was completely disheartening.
Depends how pity works on quality, may not be hard reset.

Didn't they put pity on quality? So tapping from 0 and tapping from 100 should be different, unless it works differently from how honing pity works? Like, if you pity the whole way, it's far better to be at 100 at the start

I have 3 gs and 3 artist bc of gems i cant even buy character slots and try new characters bc of gem i think they would be better to get money from slots rather than gold for gems which ppl already buy with rmt gold

I mean it does go in line with change build wenever you want. Also the most that can happen is just "bad" for the player base cause gambling for gems to sell if you get DMG one will just dissapear or rolling into a huge skill like surge to sell it a bit more and make more profit will also just don't exist if this change does happen. So overall gem prices will just stay the same wenever the price is going to be, lets say 400K for T4 lvl10, this will cause just every, CD and DMG gem to sit at the same price, that's all and i think is good for the game.
ALSO with elixirs, just make it that you can change the set, they're already implementing all those changes and in order to being actually able to change builds/play style wenever we like it, we need those 2 systems changes.
the glaring issue with the build change when you want are the gems. it costs way too much silver to reroll
if they multiply quality by 1.2 it's fine, otherwise it's a quit angle
