Perfect example is no matter status one has at work, professional decorum and respect even if you are not in agreement, it’s always important that you know who the hell you’re berating in public and in front of other employees. Your actions will eventually come back and bite you in the ASS!!!
I don't consider people my friends if they did something where I feel betrayed. In his case he did nothing. I'll forgive but I won't forget. Also it isn't wrong to ask for help if there is a situation out of control for you to handle and someone else can. We are adult enough to try to act on it but everybody become in a situation where they need help. If you can ask just do it. It's nothing to feel guilty about. Also never berate your employees in public if you can avoid it. It's not necessary to humiliate them at the same time. You only do that because you want to or you need witness. If it goes wrong it shows your true colors you want to keep hidden and you would lose the trust in you already build. And you can be sure it will bite you in the ass. She did with the wrong person.
